CAUTION
1. If toaster starts to smoke, press cancel button to stop toasting immediately.
2. Remove all protective wrapping prior to placing in toaster.
3. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster from the
electrical outlet first, Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when
removing bread.
5. The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important: This appliance is not intended for use by persons including children with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances
by a person responsible for their safety.
This product is intended for domestic and indoor use only.
Ensure that the electricity supply in your home is rated at 220 -240 volts before operating
the appliance.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance before attempting to move it.
There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance. Always contact a qualified
electrician.
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug, or in
water or other liquid
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cooling before putting on
or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to an authorized
service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
The use of accessory not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in re,
electric shock or injury to persons.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Operate on a firm, flat surface out of reach of children.
Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
To disconnect, turn any control to “Off”, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug.
Never pull the cord.
Some parts of appliance are hot when operated, so do not touch with hand. Use handles or
function controls only.
Unplug the toaster from the power outlet when not in use.
Allow the toaster to completely cool before cleaning or storing.
Oversized food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they
may cause fire or electric shock.
The toaster must not be used near or below curtains or other combustible materials.
The appliance is not to be used by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
Do not attempt to dislodge food whilst the toaster is in operation.
Take the bread out carefully after toasting to avoid injuries.
Cleaning
1) Switch the toaster off, disconnect from the power and allow it to cool down.
2) Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove minor stains.
3) Chemicals, detergents or any abrasive cleaning powder, pads or polish of any kind must
not be used as they can damage the toaster.
4) Remove the crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster and empty it. Clean the crumb tray and
replace inside the toaster.

Operating the Toaster
There may be manufacturing residue or oil remaining inside the toaster or on the heating element.
This may cause the toast to emit an odour the first time the toaster is used. It is recommended to
operate the toaster as instructed below without bread before toasting.
NOTE: The toaster can be manually switched off at any time by interrupting the power supply.
1. Place the slices of bread into the toasting slots. Make sure the crumb tray is in place.
2. Plug the cord into the power outlet.
3. Set the colour controller/ variable browning control to the required setting. There are 7
settings on this model. 7 is the darkest level of browning.
Note: Toasting colour for only one slice is darker than toasting 2 slices at the same level.
If toasted continuously, toasting colour may be darker the more you toast as the toast will become
much hotter.
4. Press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place, and the Cancel indicator
will be illuminated. The toaster will begin at once. Once the bread has been toasted to the
preset colour, the carriage handle will be automatically pop up. You can press the Cancel
button at any time to stop the toasting cycle.
5. If you want to reheat cold toasted bread, press the Reheat button and the indicator will be
illuminated. In this mode toasting time is fixed, the carriage handle will automatically spring
up and end up the reheating process.
6. If the bread has been taken out from freezer, set colour controller to your desired setting.
Press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place, then press Defrost
button and the indicator will be illuminate.
