Read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions in this manual and on the unit.
Always wear eye protector when using this unit.
Do not use a power tool in the rain and moisture or leave it outdoors when it is raining.
WARNING DANGER
Never put your hand or anything on the air intake or at the blast port. Doing so may cause injury
and/or damage the machine.
The turbo mode is designed to turn off automatically and return to the previous mode after 10
seconds in order to protect the electronic circuitry. Please note that this is not a malfunction.
Keep all children, bystanders and helpers 50 ft (15m) away from the unit. If anyone approaches
you, stop using the unit immediately.

Most accidents that result from blower operation and maintenance are caused by the failure to observe

NEVER use this blower in a manner that has not been specifically recommended by HITACHI.
MEANINGS OF SIGNAL WORDS
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situations which, if ignored, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situations which, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury, or may cause machine damage.
NOTE emphasizes essential information.
