1.1 Nļ¬nity 330 and Nļ¬nity 380 Series
Drivetrains
The Nļ¬nity series of mechanical shifting
drivetrains are the ļ¬rst continuously variable
systems for bicycles, allowing the rider to
control the ratio of NuVinci Optimized CVPs
simply by rotating the shifter grip.
Static (Nļ¬nity C3TM) or dynamic indicators
(Nļ¬nity C8TM and Nļ¬nity C8sTM) show ratio as
a simple graphic; a hill for slower speeds and
a ļ¬at for faster speeds. Since there are no
ļ¬xed gears, the exact ratio is determined by
the riderās comfort level. Ratio changes can be
made even while pedaling under high torque.

1.2 The NuVinci Optimized CVP
The NuVinci Optimized technology is a
continuously variable planetary (CVP)
drivetrain offering an inļ¬nite number of ratios
inside its wide ratio range.
Ratio changes occur within the hub smoothly
via internals that are sealed for life and
maintenance-free.
NUVINCI OPTIMIZED PRODUCTS
The HarmonyTM series of intelligent drivetrain
systems are the ļ¬rst continuously variable automatic
shifting systems for bicycles.
Review the Harmony online manual if your bicycle
is conļ¬gured with the Harmony series of electronic
shift systems.
