Sport Buds

User manual

This manual contains important information on the safe operation of the device.

Read and follow the safety advice and instructions given. Retain the manual for

future reference. If you pass the device on to others please include this manual.

For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials

have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic

bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these mate-

rials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling.

Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.

Remove lithium batteries before disposing of the device. Protect used lithium bat-

teries against potential short circuits, e.g. by covering the poles with adhesive

tape. Lithium batteries must not be thrown away with the normal household waste or

burned, but must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations on the disposal of

hazardous waste. Use the existing collection points.

This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

Directive (WEEE) in its currently valid version. Do not dispose of your old device

with your normal household waste. Dispose of this product through an approved

waste disposal rm or through your local waste facility. Comply with the rules and

regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your local waste disposal facility.

Intended use

This device is used for the wireless transmission of audio signals. Any other use or use

under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in per-

sonal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting

from improper use.

Danger for children

Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are

not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure

that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the

unit. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let unattended chil-

dren use electrical devices.

Road hazards

The device must not be used when driving motor vehicles, riding bicycles or scooters

or as pedestrian in trac. Risk of accidents!

Never use the product

• in direct sunlight

• in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity

• in extremely dusty or dirty areas

• at locations where the unit can become wet

• near magnetic elds

General handling

• To prevent damage, never use force when operating the switches and controls.

• Never immerse the appliance in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use

liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or ammable cleaning agents.

Keep foreign substances from the unit!

Keep the device away from containers with liquids. Should any liquid get into the unit,

this could lead to its destruction or re. Be sure not to let any metal objects into the

unit.

Using the device

1. Press and hold the MF button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.

2. To initiate the pairing of your mobile device, press and hold the MF button for

5 seconds until the LED display alternately lights up red and blue.

3. Start the Bluetooth function on your mobile device and look for Sport Buds in

the list of available devices.

4. Accept incoming calls by pressing the MF button. Pressing it again ends the

call. To reject an incoming call, press and hold the MF button for 2 seconds. To

redial, press the MF button twice quickly.

5. To start or stop playing an audio le, press the MF button. To move to the next

audio le, press and hold the +button. To go to the previous audio le, press

and hold the button.–

6. To increase the volume, briey press the +button repeatedly. To decrease the

volume, briey press the button repeatedly.–

7. If the device no longer functions reliably, the built-in battery is exhausted

and must be charged. To do this, connect a suitable USB voltage source to the

micro USB charging port for approx. 1.5 hours. The device is then ready for use

again.
