ā€¢ The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration
less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as speciļ¬ed in NSF/ANSI Standard 42,
Standard 53 and Standard 401.
ā€¢ The compounds certiļ¬ed under NSF 401 have been deemed as ā€œemerging compounds/incidental contami-
nants. Emerging compounds/incidental contaminants are those compounds that have been detected in drink-
ing water supplies at trace levels. While occurring at only trace levels, these compounds can aļ¬€ect the public
acceptance/perception of drinking water quality.

To reduce the risk associated with the ingestion of contaminants:
DO NOT use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection
before or after use of the system. Systems certiļ¬ed for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may
contain ļ¬lterable cysts.

use of this system.
ā€¢ Change the disposable ļ¬lter cartridge at the recommended interval; the
disposable ļ¬lter cartridge MUST be replaced every 6 months or sooner.
ā€¢ Failure to replace the disposable ļ¬lter cartridge at recommended
intervals may lead to reduced ļ¬lter performance and failure of the ļ¬lter,
causing property damage from water leakage or ļ¬‚ooding.
ā€¢ Installation and use MUST comply with all state and local plumbing codes.
ā€¢ Protect from freezing, remove ļ¬lter cartridge when temperatures are
expected to drop below 33Ā° F (4.4Ā°C).
ā€¢ DO NOT install systems in areas where ambient temperatures may go
above 110Ā° F (43.3Ā°C).
ā€¢ DO NOT install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating water
temperature of this ļ¬lter system is 100Ā°F (37.8Ā°C).
