IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, basic precauons should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instrucons before using.
2. Never immerse the toaster in water or any other liquids.
3. Do not operate the toaster with damaged power cord or plug, aer the toaster
malfuncon, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the toaster to the
nearest authorized dealer or aer-sales service center for examinaon, repair, electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
4. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface.
5. To disconnect the plug from wall outlet, grasp the plug and not the cord.
6. Do not leave the toaster unaended while it is operang.
7. Always use the toaster on a at, stable and heat resistant surface.
8. While operang the toaster, do not touch the product body.
9. Note: Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted into the
toaster as they may cause re, burnt or electric shock.
10. Place the toaster away from curtains, and other combusble material.
11. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that ELBA does not
specically recommended.
12. Do not aempt to dislodge food when toaster is in operaon.
13. Do not use the toaster without its crumb tray in place. The crumb tray should be cleaned
regularly.
14. Be careful when removing the bread from the toaster to avoid injuries.
15. This toaster is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
16. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the toaster.
17. Unplug the plug from wall outlet when not in use, before pung on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning.
18. Use this toaster for its intended use only.
19. This product has been designed for domesc and household use only. Any commercial
use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instrucons, the manufacturer
accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not apply.

Cauon:
1. If the appliance starts to smoke, press the buon to stop toasng immediately. “Cancel”
2. Remove all protecve wrapping of the bread before placing to the bread slot. in
3. Avoid toasng the bread with any ingredients or foodstu such as butter, sugar, etc.
4. Never aempt to remove bread jammed in the bread slot without unplugging the
toaster from the electrical outlet rst. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or
heang elements when removing the bread.
5. This toaster is only applicable for toasng regular bread slice.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the toaster on a at, stable and heat resistant surface.
2. Connect the plug to the wall outlet and power on the toaster.
3. Insert four slices of bread into the bread slots.
4. Set the level of browning for the bread by adjusng the control knob according to your
desired taste There are 7 levels; t. he lowest brownish is at “1”. The posion “3” can toast
the bread to golden color. Respecvely, posion “7” delivers the darkest color result. It is
always advisable to start the toasng at lowest level rst and then adjust accordingly.
Note: Browned color of single bread is darker than that double bread at the same of
level.
5. Press carriage handle down vercally. Once the bread has been toasted to the preset
color, the carriage handle will bounce up automacally.
Note: The toasng process can be terminated at anyme by pressing the “Cancel
buon.
6. If the toaster is not plugged, the carriage handle will not lock in place.
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD
To toast frozen bread, defrost the bread rst by pressing the “Defrostbuon and set the
desired browning level by adjusng the control knob. Under this mode the bread will be
toasted to the preset color.
REHEATING TOASTED BREAD
To reheat the cold toasted bread, press the “Reheat” button. Under this mode the toasng
me is xed. When the me is up, the carriage handle will automacally bounce to end up
the reheang process.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Power o the appliance. Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
2. Wipe the product body with so dry cloth aer the product body cools down. Never
use metal polish.
3. Pull out crumb tray at the boom of the toaster and empty it. If toaster is used
frequently, accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make
sure the crumb tray is completely inserted back to the toaster before using again. it
4. When the appliance is not use or for storage, the power cord can be wound under the
boom of toaster.
5. Do not immerse the appliance, cord, plug, or any parts of the toaster in water or any
other liquids.
