Heating Operation
Position the heater upright on the ξ€žoor away from curtains, furniture or wall
coverings before plugging your heater into the mains socket.
Cleaning
Your heater should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt and dust from building
up which will aξ€Ÿect its performance. Ensure the air inlet and the air outlet are not
blocked. This can be done with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush attachment.
Hints & Tips
My heater does not work when I turn it on
‒ Check that your heater is plugged in and the power is turned on at the mains
socket.
‒ Check that your heater is in an upright position.
‒ Check if the thermostat setting is too low.
‒ Try replacing the fuse in the plug.
‒ If the heater still doesn’t work, do not try to repair the heater yourself.
If your heater’s power is automatically cut oξ€Ÿ follow the steps
below:
1. Unplug your heater and allow it to cool down.
2. Inspect your heater. Clean the air inlet and the air outlet with a vacuum
cleaner if necessary. If there is any sign of physical damage (e.g. melting,
or burning of the case), do not attempt to use your heater. Please leave all
maintenance work to qualied personnel.
3. Plug-in the heater and switch it on again. If it cuts oξ€Ÿ again, move the heater
to a better ventilated location.
Safety Protective Devices
Overheat Protection System
The power to the heater will automatically cut oξ€Ÿ if the temperature of the heater
exceeds a certain limit. In the event of overheating, the heater will stop operating.
Switch the heater oξ€Ÿ and allow it to completely cool. The heater will then resume
operating as normal.
Tip-over Protective Switch
When you use the heater in an upright position on a ξ€žat and stable surface, the
tip-over protective switch will be on. In the event the heater is knocked over, the
heater will stop functioning automatically.

‒ Turn the Thermostat Control to the desired position. It is recommended to
select the β€œ+” position to get the heater to pre-heat. It will take 5-10 minutes
for the heater to fully heat up.
‒ When the room reaches the desired temperature, turn the Thermostat
Control slowly anti-clockwise.
Fan Operation
The fan can be switched on independently of the heating elements.
Turn the Power Control to β€œ ” position, the heater will blow cool air out from the
air outlet.

This unit will not operate unless positioned on a ξ€žat stable surface or if the
thermostat is set too low.
It is normal for the heater to emit some smell and fumes when it is turned on for
the rst time or when turned on after not being used for a long period of time.
This smell will disappear when the heater has been turned on for a short while.

thermostat setting is too low.

‒ Do not override the tip-over protective switch as this may cause a hazard.
