Read and keep
operating instructions
Read the instructions for
use, particularly the safety
instructions, with care, be-
fore using the electric salt/
pepper mill (hereinafter only
referred to as “mill”).
Failure to comply with these
instructions for use may lead
to serious injuries or damage
to the mill.
The instructions for use are
based on the valid standards
and rules in the European
Union.
Please also note the coun-
try-specific directives and
laws abroad.
Keep the instructions for use
and the till receipt. If you
pass the mill on to third par-
ties, please also ensure that
you pass on these instruc-
tions for use for continued
use.

This symbol gives
you useful addi-

about use.
− Children may not
play with the mill.

CAUTION!
Injury hazard!
Improper handling of the
batteries result in injuries.
− Remove the batteries from
the mill, if they are deplet-
ed or if you are not using
the mill for a longer period
of time. This way, you can
avoid leaking battery acid.
− Do not expose the batter-
ies to any extreme condi-

on a radiator or exposing
them to direct sunlight.
This increases the risk of
the batteries leaking.

Safety
Intended use
The mill is exclusively de-
signed for grinding salt and
pepper. The mill is exclusive-
ly intended for private use
and is not suitable for the
commercial sector. The mill is
not a toy.
Only use the mill as de-
scribed in these instructions
for use. Any other use shall
be regarded as improper
and can lead to material
damage. The manufacturer
or retailer shall not assume
any liability for losses caused
by intended or improper use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
This article can be used by
persons with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or
instruction concerning use
of the mill in a safe way and
understand the hazards
involved.
teries with the correct
polarity (+/-), in order to
avoid damaging the mill.
− If necessary, clean the
battery and device con-
tacts prior to insertion.
− Always replace all batter-
ies. Do not use different
types of batteries, battery
brands or batteries with
different capacities.
− Do not fill the grinding
material container right
up to the top edge,
please note the maxi-
mum filing level (see “Fill
with grinding material”).
− The salt crystals may
expand from moisture, so
that the container could
burst.
− Only switch the mill on,
if it is filled with grinding
material (salt or pepper).
Otherwise, the grind-
ing mechanism may be
damaged.
− Do not make any mod-
ifications to the mill.
Only allow repairs to be
carried out by a profes-
sional workshop and pay
attention to the guaran-

Use
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Improper use of the mill may

flavour.
