Please read theîentire instruction manual before using theîproduct and save it for future
reference. Weîreserve theîright for any errors in text or images and any necessary
changes made to technical data. Ifîyou have any questions regarding technical

1. Safety Instructions
⢠Beforeîcleaning or performing service on theîmachine make sure that Note:
theîpower switch is set to . Makeîsure that theîpower lead has been removed 0
from theîmachine. Theîmotor will continue to rotate aîshort while after being
turned off before coming to aîcomplete stop.
⢠If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualiďŹed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
⢠This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theîappliance in aîsafe way and understand theîhazards involved.
⢠The user is responsible for proper use of theîmachine and is responsible for any
possible injuries occurring to third parties through improper use.
⢠The garden shredder must be placed on aîďŹat stable surface.
⢠Use gloves, hearing protection and eye protection/visor when using theîmachine.
⢠Before going away from theîgarden shredder make sure that you have turned off
theîmotor and have removed theîpower lead from theîmachine.
⢠Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
⢠The machine can only be adjusted and cleaned once theîmotor has completely
stopped and theîpower lead has been removed from theîmachine.
Note: Whenîadjusting theîcutting plate however, theîmotor must be in operation
(see section 5.5).
⢠Make sure that theîmachine is completely and correctly assembled before turning
on theîmotor.
⢠Do not hold your hands near theîintake opening or theîoutput chute.
⢠Make sure to wear proper ďŹtting clothing; no hanging or oversized clothes,
no jewellery or similar items which may get caught in theîrotating blades.
1.1 General safety guidelines
⢠Make sure to inspect theîmachine visually before using it. Doînot use
theîmachine if theîsafety devices are damaged or worn. Theîsafety devices must
not be compromised or deactivated.
⢠The machine must never be used if theîhousing is broken or if any of theîparts
are missing.
