Safety
⢠Never use theîappliance if theîďŹex, plug or any other part is damaged or is not working
properly. Never try to repair or modify theîappliance on your own. Contact aîqualiďŹed
or approved repairman.
⢠This fan is only to be used indoors and in aîdry and clean environment. Never place
theîappliance close to baths, swimming pools or liquid-ďŹlled containers into which
it might fall.
⢠Always unplug theîfan when it is not in use.
⢠Never leave unsupervised children together with theîfan.
⢠Never connect theîappliance to theîmains before it is completely assembled.
⢠Ensure that no foreign objects enter theîappliance as this may lead to short circuiting,
electric shock, or aîďŹre hazard.
⢠Never turn theîappliance off by pulling out its plug. Make sure that theîpower
switch is set to theî[ 0 ] position before pulling out theîplug.
⢠The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theîproduct if theîmains
lead or plug is damaged.
⢠The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent theîrisk of electric
shock or ďŹre and should only be carried out by theîmanufacturer, authorised
service facility or qualiďŹed tradesman.
Power plug and cord replacement
If theîcord is damaged it must, for safety reasons, be replaced by anîauthorized repairer.
For non-rewireable plugs theîfuse cover MUST be reďŹtted when replacing theîfuse.
If theîfuse cover is lost then theîplug must not be used until aîreplacement can be
obtained. Theîcorrect fuse cover is identiďŹed by colour.
If aînon-rewireable plug is cut off it must be DESTROYED IMMEDIATELY. Anîelectric
shock hazard may arise if anîunwanted non-rewireable plug is inadvertently inserted
into aî13A socket outlet.
