Introduction:
Thank you for choosing this Citronic line splitter. e LS26 provides a reliable and comprehensive solution for line signal Th
distribution. In order to achieve the best results from this equipment and avoid damage through misuse, please read and follow
these instructions and retain for future reference.
Warning:
To prevent the risk of ļ¬re or electric shock, do not expose any part of the unit to rain or moisture.
If liquids are spilled on the surface, stop using immediately, allow unit to dry out and have checked by qualiļ¬ed personnel before
further use.
Avoid impact, extreme pressure or heavy vibration to the unit.
There are no user serviceable parts inside the line splitter refer all servicing to qualiļ¬ed service personnel. ā€“
Safety
ļ‚· Check that the supplied mains lead is in good condition and the supply voltage is correct.
ļ‚· Ensure signal leads are of good condition and connected to appropriate inputs/outputs
ļ‚· Do not allow any foreign particles to enter the unit through control or connector apertures
Placement
ļ‚· Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
ļ‚· Keep away from damp or dusty environments.
ļ‚· When rack-mounting, avoid placing heavy units above the unit and ensure all connectors and controls are accessible
Cleaning
ļ‚· Use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent to clean the casing as required

Applications
The LS26 is a signal distribution tool which can be used to split either 2 mono signals into 6 copies of each or a single mono signal into 12 ā€“ ā€“
copies of the original. These are boosted back up to line level and each given a volume control.
Applications for this function include ā€¦
ļ‚· Zone level control for a venue with many rooms fed from the same stereo sound source (12 rooms for mono or 6 for stereo)
ļ‚· Multi-ampliļ¬er signal distribution where ampliļ¬ers have no signal-through facility
ļ‚· Speech distribution to headphone ampliļ¬ers for interpreters/transcribers in conference situations
ļ‚· Multi-level parallel processing in a studio scenario where several copies of the original are sent to various signal processors ā€“
Connection
All connections are via unbalanced 6.3mm mono jack and operate at line level. Use good quality screened jack leads to connect the input signal
to INPUT A and INPUT B (use only INPUT A if splitting a single mono signal to 12 outputs) .
Connect each output to the respective ampliļ¬er (or processor) input, again using good quality screened jack leads.
With ampliļ¬ers turned down, connect mains (ensuring correct supply voltage is selected) using the supplier IEC mains lead.
Operation
Keep ampliļ¬er volume levels turned down.
Select the required mode STEREO into 6 pairs of outputs or MONO into 12 outputs on the MODE selector switch at the rear ā€“ ā€“
Check input signal(s) for gain level by playing the sound source into the LS26.
If the CLIP indicators light up, reduce the output level of the signal source until the clipping is eliminated.
Bring the ampliļ¬er levels back up to the maximum required level (usually full power) for the speaker(s) being driven
Control each OUTPUT via the level controls on the LS26 front panel accordingly.
After use, turn ampliļ¬ers down before switching oļ¬€ power to the LS26 to avoid loud noises through speakers.

TROUBLESHOOTING
No function and Power switch LED is not lit
Ensure mains voltage is correct (check selector) and connected properly
Ensure mains outlet switch is on
Power is on but no audio output
Check all jack leads are OK and connected properly
Check that OUTPUT controls are not turned fully down
Check that inputs and outputs are connected the correct way around
Make sure input is connected to INPUT A in MONO mode
Check both inputs are present in STEREO mode
Distorted output
Reduce level of input source
Reduce OUTPUT level controls
Check that output is not fed to low impedance inputs in error
Output is very low level
Ensure input source is line level (0.775Vrms)
Increase OUTPUT level control(s)
Increase signal source level
Note: for further troubleshooting, refer equipment to qualiļ¬ed service personnel for testing
