It is the responsibility of the assembler/owner to assemble,
install and maintain smoker.
This instruction manual contains important
information necessary for the safe use of the
appliance.
Read and follow all safety statements, assembly
instructions, and use and care directions before
attempting to assemble and cook. Failure to follow all
manufacturers instructions could result in serious
personal injury and/or property damage.
This appliance complies with technical standards and
safety requirements for electrical appliances.

Do not use indoors or for commercial cooking.

Extension Cord Use and Safety
Ÿ For best smoker performance use of extension cord is
not recommended.
If you must use an extension cord for your safety:
Ÿ Use only outdoor type cord rated for 10 amperes.
Ÿ Use the shortest length extension cord required. Do not
connect 2 or more extension cords together.
Ÿ Keep connections dry and off ground.
Ÿ Do not let cord hang over edge of table top or other
items where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.

Ÿ This appliance is rated for :220-240 Volts - 50/60HZ,
Power Output 800 W Class I, IPX4
Ÿ Connect only to socket-outlet having an earthing
ground and protected by circuit breaker with a
rated fault operating current (RCD) having a
maximum rating of 30 mA.
Ÿ Regularly inspect power cord sign of damage or
wear. Do not use if cord is damaged.
Ÿ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Ÿ Replacedamaged part(s) only with Char-Broil
supplied

damaged parts.
Ÿ In case of fire turn controller to OFF position,
unplug smoker from outlet and allow fire to burn
out. Do not use water to put out a fire in this or
another electrical appliance.
Ÿ To avoid the possibility of burns be sure smoker is
cool before removing and/or cleaning electric
controller and heating element.
Ÿ Do not modify this product.
Ÿ Use appliance only as specified in this manual.
Ÿ Do not use in a traffic area where tripping over the
cord is possible.
Ÿ Do not operate this appliance by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
This product must not be disposed
together with domestic waste. This
product has to be disposed at an
authorized place for recycling of electrical
and electronic appliances. By collecting
and recycling waste you help save natural
resources, and make sure the product is
disposed in an environmental friendly
and healthy way.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless

Ÿ Do not touch hot surfaces with unprotected hands. Use
handles and knobs provided for operation.
Ÿ To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse
cord, plugs, controller or heating element in water or
any other liquid.
Ÿ Do not leave appliance unattended.
Ÿ Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children. Keep children and pets away
from the appliance at all times.

without first unplugging electric controller and removing
heating element.
Ÿ DO NOT USE CHARCOAL. A charcoal fire will result
and the smoker is not designed for charcoal. The fire
will create an unsafe condition and damage the smoker.
Ÿ Fuel, such as charcoal briquettes, is not to be used with
appliance. or any other liquid.
Ÿ This appliance will be hot during and after use. Use
insulated oven mitts or gloves and long-handled smoker
utensils for protection from hot surfaces or splatter from
cooking liquids.
Ÿ Do not use or store gasoline, kerosene or other
flammable liquids within 7 meters of this smoker when
in use. Keep appliance area clear and free from
materials that burn.
Ÿ Do not move the appliance when in use.
Ÿ When cooking, the appliance must be on a level, stable
surface in an area clear of combustible material.
Ÿ Do not use a steam cleaner to clean your smoker.

General Safety

lead to overheating and damage to the appliance.
14. Use the drip tray only as instructed. Do not place it on
the cooking racks during operation.

17. Dispose of cold ashes by placing them in a metal foil
wrapper, soaking them in water overnight and discarding
in a non-combustible container.
Use and Care of Your Smoker
Before first use of smoker:
Ÿ Remove all packaging and sale labels from the smoker.
Do not use sharp tools to remove stickers.
Ÿ Wash cooking grates with warm soapy water, rinse and
dry throughly.
Before each use of smoker:
Ÿ Use smoker only on a firm and level surface to prevent
tipping over. move appliance across unevenDO NOT
surfaces.
Ÿ To prevent household circuit breakers from tripping,
keep electric controller dry and do not use other
electrical products on the same circuit.
Ÿ Check grease tray to make sure it is empty and is
mounted properly prior to each use.
Ÿ For stick-free cooking, apply a thorough coating of
vegetable oil or vegetable oil based spray to the cooking
grate.
Ÿ DO NOT cover the cooking grates with metal foil.
