1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instrucon manual carefully and keep it in a
safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before powering on your appliance, and to ensure correct use, do not use it if:
• It has fallen on the ground;
• You noce any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operaon.
To avoid hazards and deterioraon of your appliance through incorrect use it is
advisable to read the instrucons carefully and aenvely.
Your appliance must not be used for other purposes than those described in
the instrucon manual. Safety is only guaranteed for household use and not for
commercial use. Incorrect use is not covered and automacally voids the warranty.
Assistance
If there is a malfunction take your appliance to a qualified technician for
assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age
of 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given instrucon
in using the appliance safely and if they understand
the hazards involved. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not
be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the mains voltage is compable with the appliance voltage. If this is not
the case consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.

Warning: to avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
remove the cover. The interior does not contain
any parts that can be repaired by the user. Ask for
assistance by qualified personnel.

• Do not block air outlets or air inlets. It may cause a malfuncon.
• Do not spill water on the remote control, as this may damage the remote
control.
• If any of the phenomena below occur, please turn o the air condioner,
disconnect the power immediately, and then contact the dealer or qualied
professionals for service:
> Power cord is overheang or damaged.
> There is an abnormal sound during operaon.
> Frequent tripping of the circuit breaker.
> Air condioner gives o a burning smell.
> Indoor unit is leaking.
• If the air condioner operates under abnormal condions, it may cause a
malfuncon, electric shock or re hazard.
• When turning the unit on or o using the emergency operaon switch, please
press this switch using a non-metallic insulang object.
• Do not step onto or place heavy objects on top of the outdoor unit. It may cause
damage or personal injury.
• Installaon must be performed by qualied professionals in accordance with
the requirements of NEC and CEC. Otherwise, it may cause personal injury or
damage.
• Electrical safety regulaons must be followed when installing the unit.
• In accordance with the local safety regulaons, use a compliant power supply
circuit and circuit breaker. Do install a circuit break. Not doing so, may cause
malfuncon.
• An all-pole disconnecon switch with a contact separaon of at least 3 mm for
all poles should be connected in xed wiring.
• When including a circuit breaker with suitable capacity, please note the table in
subsequent pages. The air switch should include a magnet buckle and a heang
buckle funcon to protect the unit from short-circuit and overload.
• Make sure the power supply matches the air condioner’s requirements. An
unstable power supply or incorrect wiring may cause a malfuncon. Please
install suitable power supply cables before using the air condioner.
• Correctly connect the live wire, neutral wire and ground wire of the power
socket.
• Be sure to cut o the power supply before proceeding with any work related to
electricity and safety.
• Do not reconnect the power before nishing the installaon.
• The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, please keep the
interconnecon cable away from the copper tube.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with naonal wiring regulaons.
• The air condioner is a rst class electric appliance. It must be properly
grounded with a specialized grounding device by a professional. Please make
sure it is always grounded eecvely, otherwise it may cause electric shocks.
• The yellow-green wire in the air condioner is the grounding wire, which cannot
be used for any other purposes.
