damage.
Safety information presented here is generic
in nature – some advice may not be
applicable to every product. The term
"equipment" refers to the product, be it
electrical mains powered, battery powered or
combustion engine powered.
- If you are not familiar with the Before Use
safe operation/handling of the equipment or
are in any way unsure of any aspect of
suitability or correct use for your
application, you should complete training
conducted by a person or organization
qualified in safe use and operation of this
equipment, including fuel/electrical handling
and safety.
Do NOT operate the equipment in
flammable or explosive environments, such
as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. The equipment may create
sparks or heat that may ignite flammable
substances.
Keep clear of moving parts.
Equipment may be a potential source of
electric shock or injury if misused.
Do NOT operate the equipment if it is
damaged, malfunctioning or is in an
excessively worn state.

these are connected and used properly.
Dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
General Personal Safety
Wear appropriate protective equipment
when operating, servicing, or when in the
operating area of the equipment to help
protect from eye and ear injury, poisoning,
burns, cutting and crush injuries. Protective
equipment such as safety goggles,
respirators, non-slip safety footwear, hard
hat, hearing protection etc should be used
for appropriate equipment / conditions.

Ensure all power sources conform to
equipment voltage requirements and are
disconnected before connecting or
disconnecting equipment.
When wiring electrically powered
equipment, follow all electrical and safety
codes.
Wherever possible, use a residual current
device (RCD).
High voltage / high current power lines may
be present. Use extreme caution to avoid
contact or interference with power lines.
Electrical shock can be fatal.
General Electrical Safety
Electrically grounded equipment must have
an approved cord and plug and be
connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
Do NOT bypass the ON/OFF switch and
operate equipment by connecting and
disconnecting the electrical cord.

General Safety Instructions for Power Tools
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the safety instructions and instructions can result in electric shock, fire and
/ or serious injury.
Keep all safety notices and instructions for future use.
The term power tool used in the safety instructions refers to mains-operated power tools (with a power cord) and to battery-operated power tools
(without a power cord).
Work Area Safety
Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark work areas can lead to accidents.
Do not work with the power tool in potentially explosive environments in which there are flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools generate
sparks that can ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and other people away while using the power tool. If you are distracted, you can lose control of the device.
Electrical Safety
The power tool plug must match the socket. The plug must not be modified in any way. Do not use adapter plugs together with protective earthed
power tools. Unchanged plugs and matching sockets reduce this risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, heaters, stoves, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your
body is grounded.
Keep power tools away from rain or moisture. Water getting into a power tool increases the risk of electric shock.
Do not misuse the cable to carry the power tool, hang it up or to pull the plug from the socket. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or
moving parts of the device. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
When working with a power tool outdoors, only use extension cords that are also suitable for outdoor use. Applying one for outdoors suitable
extension cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal Safety
Be attentive, pay attention to what you are doing, and use common sense when working with a power tool. Do not use a power tool when you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or under the influence of any medication. A moment of inattention while using the power tool can
result in serious injury.
Wear personal protective equipment and always protective glasses. Wearing personal protective equipment, such as a dust mask, non-slip safety
shoes, hard hat or hearing protection, depending on the type and use of the power tool, reduces the risk of injuries.
