Barco provides a guarante e relating to perfect man ufacturing as part of the lega lly stipulate d terms of guarantee. On receipt, the purchaser

must immediately inspect all delivered goods for damage incurred during transport, as well as for material and manufacturing faults Barco

must be informed im mediately in wr iting of any complaints.

The period of gu arantee beg ins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of c omm issioning,

at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the ev ent of justiﬁed notice of complain t, Barco can repair the fault or p rovide a replac ement

at its o wn discretion within an appropriate period. If this measure prove s to be impos sible or unsucce ssfu l, the purchaser ca n demand a

reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of th e contract. All o ther claims, in particular those relating to compensa tio n for direct or

indirect damage, and also damage a ttributed to the operation of s oftware as well as to other services prov ided by Barco, being a com ponent

of the system or independent service, will be d eeme d invalid provided the dam age is n ot pro ven to be attributed to the absence of properties

guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or part of Barco.
