ignition, disconnect the negative battery
terminal before installing this product. Ensure
that all installation connections, especially the
air bag indicator lights, are plugged in before
reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition
to test this product.
NOTE: Refer also to the instructions included
with the aftermarket radio.

From the 16-pin harness with stripped leads to the aftermarket radio, connect as indicated:
ā€¢ wire to the left front (+) speaker output.White
ā€¢ wire to the left front (-) speaker output.White/Black
ā€¢ wire to the right front (+) speaker output.Gray
ā€¢ Gray/Black wire to the right front (-) speaker output.
ā€¢ wire to the radioā€™s left rear (+) speaker output.Green
ā€¢ wire to the radioā€™s left rear (-) speaker output.Green/Black
ā€¢ wire to the radioā€™s right rear (+) speaker output.Purple
ā€¢ wire to the radioā€™s right rear (-) speaker output.Purple/Black

Note: This wire must be connected to hear sound from the factory ampliļ¬er.
Tape off and disregard the following (6) wires, they will not be used in this application:

From the AXTO-TY1 harness to the aftermarket radio, connect as indicated:
ā€¢ wire to the ground wire.Black
ā€¢ Yellow wire to the battery wire.
ā€¢ wire to the accessory wire.Red
ā€¢ wire to the power antenna wire.Blue
ā€¢ wire to the illumination wire. (if applicable)Orange
ā€¢ wire connect this to the ground wire if there is noise in the system. Black/White
With the key in the off position:
1. Connect the , and the 16-pin harness with stripped leads AXTO-TY1 harness into the
AXTO-TY1 interface.
2. Connect the AXTO-TY1 harness to the wiring harness in the vehicle.
1. With the vehicle and radio turned on, turn the volume up 3/4 of the way.
2. With a small ļ¬‚at-blade screwdriver, adjust the potentiometer clockwise to raise the audio
level; counter clockwise to lower the audio level.
3. Once at a desired level, audio adjustment is complete.
1. Turn the key (or push-to-start button) to the ignition position and wait until the radio
comes on. The factory ampliļ¬er should come on and you should hear sound at this point.
2. Test all functions of the installation for proper operation, and then reassemble the dash in
the reverse order of disassembly to complete the installation.
Note: To ensure that balance and faders are centered, turn volume up 3/4 and shut off vehicle
DO NOT shut off the radio, prior to shutting off the vehicle.
