ignition, disconnect the negative battery
terminal before installing this product.
Ensure that all installation connections,
especially the air bag indicator lights, are
plugged in before reconnecting the battery
or cycling the ignition to test this product.

CONNECTIONS
From the LD-AX-XSVI-MB1 or LD-AX-XSVI-MB2 harness to the aftermarket radio, connect the:
• wire to the ground wire.Black
• Yellow wire to the battery wire.
• wire to the ignition wire.Red
• Orange wire to the illumination wire. If the aftermarket radio has no illumination wire, tape
off the wire.Orange
• wire to the antenna turn on wire.Blue
• White wire to the left front positive speaker output.
• White/Black wire to the left front negative speaker output.
• wire to the right front positive speaker output.Gray
• Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker output.
• Green wire to the left rear positive speaker output.
• Green/Black wire to the left rear negative speaker output.
• wire to the right rear positive speaker output.Purple
• wire to the right rear negative speaker output.Purple/Black
The following wires are for the aftermarket radios that have navigation built in:
• Connect the wire to the parking brake wire of the aftermarket navigation radio Light Green
(if applicable).
•
Connect the wire to the VSS or speed sense wire of the aftermarket navigation radioBlue/Pink
(if applicable).
• Connect the wire to the reverse wire of the aftermarket navigation radio Green/Purple
(if applicable).
AXSWC pre-wired harness:
• This harness is to be used in conjunction with the optional AXSWC (not included) to retain
steering wheel controls. If the AXSWC is not being used, disregard this harness. If it will be
used, please refer to the AXSWC instructions for radio connections and programming.
Disregard the harness that comes with the AXSWC.Note:

INSTALLATION PROGRAMMING
With the key in the off position:
• Connect the LD-AX-XSVI-MB1 or LD-AX-XSVI-MB2 harness into the interface, and then to the
wiring harness in the vehicle.
Attention! If the interface loses power for any reason, the following steps will need to be
performed again. Also, if installing an AXSWC connect it after you initialize and test the interface/
radio, with the key in the off position.
• Turn the key (or push-to-start button) to the ignition position and wait until the radio comes on.
If the radio does not come on within 60 seconds, turn the key to the off position, Note:
disconnect the interface, check all connections, reconnect the interface, and then try again.
• Turn the key to the off position, and then to the accessory position. Test all functions of the
installation for proper operation, before reassembling the dash.
If using the AXSWC, connect it after you initialize the AXDI-MB1, with the key in the off Note:
position.
