INTRODUCTION
The AX-ADCH03 harness is designed for, and must be used with, the
AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 interface (sold separately). Please refer to the
AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 for the 16-pin connector with stripped leads.
ā€  Only if the camera is displayed on the factory radio
* To retain fade in ampliļ¬ed models, use the AX-ADBOX1

From the AX-ADCH03 harness to the aftermarket radio:
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the ground wire.Black
ā€¢ Connect the Yellow wire to the battery wire.
ā€¢ If installing an ASWC-1 (sold separately), connect the wire to accessory power.Red
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the right front positive speaker output.Gray
ā€¢ Connect the Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker output.
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the left front positive speaker output.White
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the left front negative speaker output.White/Black
ā€¢ Tape off and disregard the following (1) wire, it will not be used in this application:
Blue/White labeled ā€œ500L amp turn onā€.
ā€¢ If the vehicle is equipped with a factory backup camera, connect the Yellow RCA jack to a
jack on the aftermarket radio designated for a backup camera.
ā€¢ If retaining the factory AUX-IN jack is desired, connect the and RCA jacks to the Red White
audio AUX-IN jacks from the aftermarket radio.
12-pin pre-wired ASWC-1 harness:
This harness is to be used along with the optional ASWC-1 (sold separately) to retain steering
wheel audio controls. If the ASWC-1 is not being used, disregard this harness. If the ASWC-1
will be used, please refer to the ASWC-1 instructions for radio connections and programming.
Disregard the harness that comes with the ASWC-1.

CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE
Attention! This interface will work with models that are either non-ampliļ¬ed, or ampliļ¬ed.
Please follow the instructions carefully for your model vehicle. Failure to do so will result in
either no sound, or low sound. If you are unsure if your vehicle is factory ampliļ¬ed or not, please
contact your local dealership.
For models
without
an ampliļ¬er:
From the 16-pin harness with stripped leads to the aftermarket radio (harness included with interface):
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the accessory wire.Red
If installing an ASWC-1 (sold separately), connect the wire on the AX-ADCH03 Note: Red
harness as well.
ā€¢ If the aftermarket radio has an illumination wire, connect the Orange/White wire to it.
Attention! The following (4) wires are reversed on purpose. These wires will not match ā€œcolor
codeā€ to the aftermarket radio.
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the right rear positive speaker output.Gray
ā€¢ Connect the Gray/Black wire to the right rear negative speaker output.
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the left rear positive speaker output.White
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the left rear negative speaker output.White/Black
The following (3) wires are only for multimedia/navigation radios that require these wires.
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the VSS/speed sense wire.Blue/Pink
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the reverse wire.Green/Purple
ā€¢ Connect the wire to the parking brake wireLight Green
ā€¢ Tape off and disregard the following (6) wires, they will not be used in this application:
Blue/White Brown Green Green/Black Purple Purple/Black, , , , ,
