AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI
LEGGERE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DELL’USO.
Usando apparecchi elettrici è necessario prendere le opportune precauzioni, tra le
quali:

Non usare l’apparecchio se il cavo elettrico o la spina risultano danneggiati, 13.
o se l’apparecchio stesso risulta difettoso; tutte le riparazioni, compresa la
sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione, devono essere eseguite solamente dal
centro assistenza Ariete o da tecnici autorizzati Ariete, in modo da prevenire
ogni rischio.
In caso di utilizzo di prolunghe elettriche, quest’ultime devono essere adeguate 14.

rezza dell’ambiente dove si opera. Le prolunghe non adeguate possono provo-
care anomalie di funzionamento.

Dopo aver tenuto acceso il motore senza interruzioni per fare una quantità di 25.
gelato attendere almeno trenta minuti prima di rimettere in moto la macchina.
Non far funzionare l’apparecchio per più di 40 minuti consecutivi.26.
Se il gelato od il sorbetto contengono ingredienti freschi, devono essere consu-27.
mati entro una settimana. Il gelato è più gustoso quando è freddo.
Se il gelato od il sorbetto contengono uova crude, evitare il consumo da parte 28.

Se la soluzione congelante dovesse fuoriuscire dalle tazze refrigeranti, inter-29.
rompere l'uso. La soluzione congelante utilizzata non è tossica.
Utilizzare la gelatiera sempre con il coperchio montato.30.

ATTENZIONE: Nel montare, smontare o pulire l’apparecchio assicurarsi sempre che esso sia
spento e non connesso all’alimentazione elettrica.
Prima dell’utilizzo dell’apparecchio si consiglia di lavare tutte le parti removibili (tazze e
mescolatrice) ed il coperchio con acqua e comune sapone da piatti.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
Prima di fare il gelato
- Le tazze refrigeranti (G) devono esser convenientemente congelate prima di ogni utilizzo: la tazza
possiede un recipiente doppiamente isolato che richiede un congelamento totale (circa 12 ore)
per una perfetta riuscita del gelato. Si raccomanda di collocare la tazza nella parte posteriore del
freezer dove la temperatura è più fredda (il freezer utilizzato deve arrivare ad una temperatura di
almeno - 18°C). La tazza dovrà essere riposta, preferibilmente chiusa in un sacchetto di plastica
per evitare l'assorbimento di odori ed il contatto con il ghiaccio, in posizione perfettamente vertica-
le e con l'apertura verso l'alto. Si consiglia di conservare la tazza in freezer quando non si utilizza
in modo da trovarla già pronta in qualsiasi momento.

ATTENZIONE
Non utilizzare utensili o oggetti in metallo dentro alla tazza perché potrebbero danneggiare
la superficie.
OSSERVAZIONI E CONSIGLI UTILI:
- Più la percentuale dei grassi nel gelato sarà alta, più il gelato risulterà ricco e più la sua miscela
sarà soffice e mantecata.
- L’aggiunta di un bianco d’uovo montato a neve ferma, negli ultimi minuti di mantecatura, darà più
volume alle miscele.
- La conservazione per molto tempo di gelati casalinghi in freezer dovrebbe essere fatta utilizzando
solo contenitori a tenuta d’aria. Non conservare in ogni caso il gelato più di 2 giorni.
- La miscela deve essere fluida quando si inizia la preparazione. Non utilizzare ingredienti duri o
congelati dentro alla miscela.
- L’aggiunta di alcol alle ricette ostacola o addirittura impedisce il processo di congelamento.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE DELL’APPARECCHIO
ATTENZIONE
Le tazze refrigeranti (G), le mescolatrici (F) ed il supporto (E) devono essere accuratamente
lavati prima del successivo utilizzo. La presenza di residui potrebbe compromettere le condi-
zioni igieniche indispensabili alla produzione del gelato. Uova, latte, panna ed in genere tutti
gli alimenti freschi sono facilmente contaminabili e deperibili, pertanto la massima pulizia
degli elementi garantisce i migliori risultati in termini di sicurezza igienica e di qualità del
gelato.
- Lavare tutti i componenti in acqua tiepida saponata.
- Strofinare il coperchio motore (B) con una spugna umida o con uno straccio.
ATTENZIONE
Non utilizzare abrasivi o utensili di metallo. Sciacquare e asciugare tutte le parti accurata-
mente.
Non procedere al congelamento della tazza quando questa è ancora umida.
Non conservare mai le parti in plastica dentro il frigo.
Per prolungare la vita del tuo apparecchio non lavarne le parti in lavastoviglie.

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
The necessary precautions must be taken when using electrical appliances, and
these include the following:
Make sure that the voltage on the appliance rating plate corresponds to that of the 1.

To unplug the appliance, grip the plug and remove it directly from the power 12.

Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appli-13.
ance itself is faulty; all repairs, including substitution of power cord, must be
carried out exclusively by an Ariete assistance centre or by authorized Ariete
technicians in order to avoid all risks.
In case of using extension leads, these must be suitable for the appliance power to 14.
avoid danger to the operator and for the safety of the environment in which the appli-
ance is being used. Extension leads, if not suitable, can cause operating anomalies.

Never allow the cord to dangle in places where it may be grabbed by a child.15.
Do not threaten the safety of the appliance by using parts that are not original 16.
or which have not been approved by the manufacturer.
This appliance is designed for HOME USE ONLY and may not be used for com-17.
mercial or industrial purposes.

the ice cream maker. Rubber or wooden utensils may be used when the ice
cream maker is turned off.
Never operate the appliance when empty.24.
After keeping the motor running without interruption to make an amount of ice 25.
cream, wait for at least thirty minutes before starting the appliance again.
Do not operate the appliance for more than 40 minutes consecutively.26.
If the ice cream or sorbet contains fresh ingredients, then they must be con-27.
sumed within one week. Ice cream is tastier when cold.
If the ice cream or sorbet contains raw eggs, they should not be eaten by chil-28.
dren, pregnant women or the elderly.
Should the freezing solution leaks out from the bowls, interrupts its use. The 29.
freezing solution used is not toxic.
Only use the ice cream maker with the lid fitted.30.
31. To dispose of product correctly according to European Directive 2009/96/
CE, please refer to and read the provided leaflet enclosed with the product.

WARNING
Always start the appliance before adding the ice cream or the sorbet to prevent the mix from
freezing immediately inside the container.
- Leave the machine to operate for a maximum of 30-40 minutes, or until the mixture reaches the
required consistency. Ice creams should have the consistency of a soft cream. For thicker ice
cream, remove the mix from the bowl and put it into an airtight freezer container. Leave it in the
freezer just for a short period – no longer than 30 minutes.
WARNING
Never stop and restart the appliance during the freezing process, since the mix may freeze
when coming in contact with the bowl, jeopardizing the movement of the paddle.
- It is possible to add other ingredients (chocolate flakes, nuts, caramel) by pouring them through
the funnels (D) during the last 5 minutes of the freezing process.
- When the mix reaches the required density, switch the appliance off by pressing the apposite
switch (A) and unplug it.
- Remove the motor cover (B) by pulling the appropriate unlocking levers (C) upwards (Fig. 7).
Remove the support (E) by rotating the two levers (I) on the base (H), Fig. 4, and the mixers (F)
in upright position.
- Use an ice cream slice or a plastic spoon to take the ice cream inside the bowls (G).
WARNING
Do not use metal utensils or objects inside the bowl to prevent the surface from being damaged.
HANDY HINTS:
- The higher the percentage of fats in the ice cream, the richer the ice cream will be, as well as softer
and blended.
- Adding a whisked egg white in the final moments of blending will add to the volume of the mix.
- Homemade ice creams should only be stored in airtight containers inside the freezer. In any case,
do not store the ice cream for longer than 2 days.
- The mix must be fluid at the start of preparation. Do not use hard or frozen ingredients inside the
mixture.
- Adding alcohol to a recipe will block or even prevent the freezing process.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING THE APPLIANCE
IMPORTANT
Clean the freezing bowls (G), the mixers (F) and the support (E) thoroughly before the next
use. Any residues could affect the hygiene conditions that are essential when making ice
cream. Eggs, milk, cream and generally speaking, all fresh foods are easily contaminated
and perishable, which is why maximum cleanliness of parts will guarantee the best results in
terms of hygiene and ice cream safety.
- Wash all components with warm, soapy water.
- Wipe the motor cover (B) with a damp sponge or a cloth.
IMPORTANT
Never use abrasives or metal utensils. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
Do not proceed with freezing process of the bowl when it is still wet.

Never store the plastic parts inside the refrigerator.
To extend the life of your appliance, never wash parts in the dishwasher.
RECIPES
Fiordilatte ice cream
Ingredients:
400 ml whole milk
200 ml fresh cream
80 g sugar
1 vial vanilla essence
1. Mix the cream and sugar together in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved completely.
2. Add the milk and continue mixing.
3. Chill in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours and then follow the instructions.
Chocolate ice cream
Ingredients:
200 ml fresh cream
300 ml milk
85 g sugar
2 eggs
1 vial vanilla essence
45/60 g unsweetened cocoa powder (to taste)
1. Mix the cocoa powder and sugar together in a bowl.
2. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
3. Add the cream and milk and mix well together.
4. Chill in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours and then follow the instructions.
Vanilla ice cream
Ingredients:
3 egg yolks
85 g sugar
150 ml cream
1 vial vanilla essence
1. Beat the eggs and sugar together in a large saucepan.
2. Add the milk and cream a little at a time and mix constantly over a low flame until it thickens
(about 10 minutes). The mix should stick to the spoon.
4. Leave to cool and then add the vanilla, mixing well.
5. Chill and then follow the instructions.
Fruit sorbet
Ingredients:
500/600 g fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or fresh pineapple)
60 g sugar
1. Blend the ingredients in a kitchen mixer to reduce the fruit to puree.
2. Chill in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours and then follow the instructions.
