WARNING!
Charcoal or similar fuels are not allowed to be
used for this device.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns and fi re! The device radiates a
great deal of heat during operation. The surfaces
and attachments become very hot during the course of this!
• Always put the device on an easily accessible, level and
suffi ciently sturdy and non-slip surface.
• Keep a minimum distance of 30 cm to walls.
• Never place the device on or close to hot surfaces (e.g. hob
plates etc.).
• Do not put the device at the edge of e.g. stairs or a garden pond.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device with bare hands.
Also inform other users of the dangers!
• Do not use any baking paper on the grill plate and do not cover
the device with objects during operation.
• Never use the grill without the inserted grill plate.
• Never pour water on hot or burning grease. Danger of
defl agration. In case of a fi re immediately disconnect the power
plug and use e.g. a fi re blanket, sand or an appropriate fi re
extinguisher.
• Please note that the device can still be very hot a few minutes
after being switched off.
• Do not transport or carry the device as long as it is still hot or as
long as hot food is still on it. Disconnect the power plug and let
it cool off before moving it.
• Disconnect the power plug from the socket and allow the device
to cool off completely before you clean it.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging without due care and attention using
a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the appliance may become
damaged.
1. Remove the device and accessories from the packaging.
2. Carefully remove all packaging material and completely unroll
the power cable.
3. Before using the device for the fi rst time, check whether the
voltage specifi cation on the rating plate corresponds to that of
your household.
4. Check whether the delivery is complete, see Scope of delivery.
5. Check whether the individual parts are damaged. If this is the
case, do not use the device. Contact the service address stated
on the guarantee card.
6. Clean the electric grill with a slightly dampened cloth prior
to initial use, in order to remove possible packaging and
production residues.
