Safety Precautions
Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully before installing or servicing this xture. Failure to comply with these instructions could result in
potentially fatal electric shock and/or property damage.
It is recommended that a qualied electrician perform all wiring. This xture must be wired in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.
Do not handle any energized xture or attempt to energize any xture with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface or in water.
This xture is designed for use in a 120VAC, 60Hz fused circuit and is compatible with TRIAC forwa - ase dimmers. rd ph
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, and to assure proper operation, this xture must be adequately grounded. To accomplish proper grounding, there must be a
separate ground wire (green) contact between this xture and the ground connection of your main power supply panel.
This xture is intended to be used for general indoor lighting in damp locations.

Assembly Instructions
1. Preparing for installation
A. before installing or servicing any part of this xture. Disconnect electrical power
B. Separate xture (1) from mounting bracket (2) place xture and parts bag o to the side.,
2. Wiring.
All wiring must take place inside junction box.
Caution: Make sure power is o at fuse or circuit breaker box. Check power wires for damage or
scrapes. If power supply wires are within three inches of driver, use wire suitable for at least 90C
(194F). Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated to 60C. Consult a qualied Note:
electrician before installing.
A. uit. Electrical This unit will not operate properly unless connected to a “grounded” electrical circ
shock, over-heating, low or no light output, and shortened LED life can result if proper grounding
is not done.
B. Make all wire connections to appropriate wire. Secure with wire nuts (supplied).
C. Connect green wire from the xture to the power source green wire.
D. The white wire from the xture is connected to the white (N) wire from power source.
E. The black wire from the xture is connected to the black (L) wire from power source.
F. Pull on each wire lead to make sure connections are secure. Make certain no Do not mix wires.
bare wires are exposed outside of wire connectors. Tuck all connections neatly into the junction
box.
3. Fixture mounting
A. Align mounting bracket (2) to junction box (not supplied) with at side facing toward ceiling and
secure rmly with two #8-32 x 1” screws (3). Install two wood screws (6) through outer slots into
drywall anchor (5) for additional support.
B. Install pan (1) carefully to mounting bracket by aligning two side holes to the bracket and secure
rmly with two screws (4).
C. Install decorative outer band (7) to xture by aligning mounting holes on xture and band, sliding
band over xture, and thread set screws (9) into xture using provided allen wrench (8).
4. Restore power at fuse or circuit breaker box.
Limited Factory Warranty
AFX Inc. hereby warranty that this xture is free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions
for a period of 5 years from date of shipment from factory. This warranty covers all component parts and extends only to replacement of defective xture
or components; it does not cover failure due to improper installation, misuse, mishandling or damage incurred in transit.
