Safety Precautions
Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully before installing or servicing this xture. Failure to comply with these instructions could result in
potentially fatal electric shock and/or property damage.
It is recommended that a qualied electrician perform all wiring. This xture must be wired in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.
Do not handle any energized xture or attempt to energize any xture with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface or in water.
This xture is designed for use in a 120VAC, 60Hz fused circuit.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, and to assure proper operation, this xture must be adequately grounded. To accomplish proper grounding, there must be a
separate ground wire (green) contact between this xture and the ground connection of your main power supply panel.
This xture is intended to be used for general door lighting in dry or damp locations.in

Assembly Instructions
1. Preparing for installation
A. Disconnect electrical power before installing or servicing any part of this
xture
B. Remove xture from carton; remove ceiling pan (4) with shade ) already (6
attached, and hardware kit. Remove the acrylic diuser (7) and set aside.
C. Install two shorter screws (2) to gem bar embossed holes with screws (1)
facing the xture until screw head is ush with gem bar . per Figure 1
D. Attach gem bar (1) to the junction box (not provided) with two long screws (3 ).
2. Wiring
All wiring must take place inside junction box. Caution: Make sure power is o
at fuse or circuit breaker box. Check power wires for damage or scrapes. If power
supply wires are within three inches of v use wire suitable for at least 90°dri er, C
(194F). Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated to 60°C. Note:
Consult a qualied electrician before installing.
A. This unit will not operate properly unless connected to a “grounded” electrical
circuit. Electrical shock, over heating, low or no light output, and shortened
LED life can result if proper grounding is not done. Securely attach green (or
green and yellow) wire to ground supply wire.
B. Using wire nuts (provided), connect white supply wire to white xture lead. (N)
Connect black (L)) supply wire to black xture lead. Do not mix wires. Pull on
each wire lead to make sure connections are secure. Make certain no bare
wires are exposed outside of wire connectors. Tuck all connections neatly into
junction box.
3. Back pan mounting
A. Align back pan (4) to two screws (2) on round gem bar and secure with two
thumb nuts (5) as shown in Figure 2.
4. Color ChangingTemperature Adjustment, CCT (if desired)
A. Set the two color selection switches in according to the desired color Figure 2,
temperature as shown below. Fixture is preset to 3500K from factory. Note:

A. Install the acrylic diuser (7) into the shade (6). With the matte nish side of (7) facing down, bend it slightly to angle it up inside the shade as
shown in . Figure 3
B. The diuser should fall into place at the bottom of the shade.
6. Power to the xture can now be restored.
Limited Factory Warranty
AFX Inc. hereby warranty that this xture is free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions for a period of 5 years from
date of shipment from factory. This warranty covers all component parts and extends only to replacement of defective xture or components; it does not cover failure due to
improper installation, misuse, mishandling or damage incurred in transit.
