Before installing and ļ¬rst using the dishwasher, read the instruction booklet carefully, including
its hints and warnings. Doing so will ensure that your machine will perform properly and to best
advantage. Anyone using the machine should be thoroughly familiar with its instructions for use
and safety features. Save these instructions and make sure they remain with the machine if it is
moved or sold, so that everyone using it through its life can be properly informed on appliance
use and safety.
Installation
ā– All installation work and other work done on the product
must be carried out by a qualified technician. Work
performed by persons with inadequate know ledge
may adversely affect the satisfactory functioning of
the product and may cause personal injury or damage.
ā– This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when
moving it.
ā– Make sure that the power cord is not nipped or other-
wise damaged and that its hoses do not get crushed
or kinked when moving the dishwasher in connection
with installation or cleaning etc.
Child Safety
ā– This appliance is designed to be operated by adults.
Children should not be allowed to tamper with the
controls or play with the product.
ā– Keep all packaging well away for children.
ā– Keep all detergents in safe place out of childrenĀ“s
reach.
During Use
ā– This dishwasher is designed solely for washing house-
hold utensils suitable for machine washing and only
in accordance with these instructions. Using it for
other purposes could lead to physical injury or damage
to property.
ā– Items that are contaminated by petrol, paint.steel or
iron debris, corrosive, acidic or alkaline chemicals
must not be washed in this dishwasher.
ā– Avoid opening the door while the machine is running.
ā– If you take any dishes out of the machine before the
end of the dishwashing cycle, it is extremely important
to rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove
any remaining detergent.
ā– Only use detergent speciļ¬cally designed for use in
dishwashers.
ā– Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are
a potential hazard.
ā– Long and/or sharp items of cutlery such as carving
knives must be positioned horizontally in the basket.
ā– When ļ¬nishing loading or unloading close the door,
as an open door can be a hazard.
ā– Make sure that the machine is disconnected from the
power supply during cleaning and maintenance work.
ā– After using the machine, turn off its water supply and
disconnect it from the power supply. When removing
the electrical plug, grip the plug, not the lead.
ā– Servicing and repairs must be carried out by a service
company authorised by the supplier. Use only spare
parts supplied by these. Never try to repair the machine
yourself.
Conservation
In the interest of the environment:
ā– At the end of the machine's useful life, disconnect
the electrical plug from the power supply, then cut
the electrical lead at the point where it enters the
machine. Make quite sure that children will not be
able to play with the severed lead and plug.
