I M C NSTRUCTIONS FOR AKING OFFEE
1. Before rst use, clean coeemaker thoroughly following cleaning instructions.
2. Always use the coeemaker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from any
edge.
3. With the basket and stem removed, ll the coeemaker with COLD water to the
desired cup level. Marks on inside of the coeemaker show cup levels. Do not ll
past maximum cup level. Never make more than the maximum or less than
the minimum amount of coee, as indicated by the markings inside your
coeemaker, for your model of coeemaker.
4. Place the stem into the heating unit well in the bottom of the coeemaker, then
put the basket on the ste Add ground coee to the basket using the following m.
chart for the amount to use depending on the cup level. Spread the grounds
evenly in the basket. Use standard measuring cups to measure the grounds. Do
not let any grounds fall into the stem opening. The amount of ground coee
recommended will make medium-strength coee which most people prefer, but
amount of coee used can be adjusted to suit personal taste. A paper lter Note:
is not required for making coee. If you grind your own coee beans, grind to
medium coarseness for best results. DO NOT grind too ne (powder-like), as this
can cause the basket to ood.
