Environmental recepon eects
The clock obtains the accurate me with wireless technology. Same as all wireless devices, the recepon is maybe aected by the following
circumstances:
long transming distance
nearby mountains and valleys
near freeway, railway, airports, high voltage cable etc.
near construcon site
among tall buildings
inside concrete buildings
near electrical appliances (computers, TVs, etc) and metallic structures
inside moving vehicles
Place the clock at a locaon with opmal signal, i.e. close to a window and away from metal surfaces or electrical appliances.
Precauons
This main unit is intended to be used only indoors.
Do not subject the unit to excessive force or shock.
Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, dust or humidity.
Do not immerse in water.
Avoid contact with any corrosive materials.
Do not dispose this unit in a re as it may explode.
Do not open the inner back case or tamper with any components of this unit.
Batteries safety warnings
Use only alkaline batteries, not rechargeable baeries.
Install batteries correctly by matching the polaries (+/- ).
Always replace a complete set of baeries.
Never mix used and new baeries.
Remove exhausted batteries immediately.
Remove batteries when not in use.
Do not recharge and do not dispose of batteries in re as the baeries may explode.
Ensure baeries are stored away from metal objects as contact may cause a short circuit.
Avoid exposing baeries to extreme temperature or humidity or direct sunlight.

3. Getng Started:
Open baery Cover (C1)
Insert 2 x AAA size baeries observing polarity [“ +” and “ –“ marks]

Place the unit onto at surface; the unit is ready for use now.
4. Time and Alarm Setng
4.1 Radio Controlled Time:
Aer the start-up of the unit, the clock automacally starts scan the DCF me signal. Radio Control to
Icon “ ” (A4) ashes on LCD.

The clock is automacally synchronized with the DCF radio signal every day at 2.00 am & 3.00 am to
maintain accurate me keeping. If synchronizaon with the DCF radio signal fails, on LCD
disappears and the clock then aempts to synchronize with the DCF radio signal at 4.00 am and 5am.
The clock can be set to scan the radio signal manually by holding buon (B5) for 3 seconds. Each
recepon takes around several minutes. If recepons fail, scanning stops. (“ on LCD disappear) and
repeats again on next full hour. E.g. scanning failed at 8:20a.m. It will scan again at 9:00a.m.
Stop scanning DCF radio signal by holding 5) for 3 seconds. ” buon (B

4.2 Manual Time Setng:
In me display, Press ” buon (BTIME SET 3) to select to view :
Time & Date Time & Year
In me display, TIME SEThold “ ” buon (B3) for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar seng Mode.
Press ” (B ) or 4” (B ) buon to adjust the seing and press ” button (B5 TIME SET 3) to conrm each
seng.
(By keeping the (B ) or 4(B5) buon pressed, could accelerate the process and reach the desired
value more quickly)
The seng sequence is shown as follow: R ON/OFF, 12/24 Time format for alarm me, Time Zone, CC
Hour, Minutes, Year, Month, Date, Language of Weekday, C/F (unit of temperature setng)
There are 8 languages, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Czech, for
day- -week. The languages and their selected abbreviaons for each day of the week are shown in the of
following table.
