Detach the Front Panel
Press button in the upper left corner, and then the front panel will be folded down.
When the front panel was turned down to the angle of 45°, hold and push the front
panel to left, and then pull it out.

Do not attempt to modify the unit, modifying the unit may cause an accident.
Installation or servicing of the unit by persons without training and experience in
electronic equipment and automotive accessories may be dangerous and could
expose you to the risk of electric shock or other hazards.
Stop the vehicle before carrying out any operation that could interfere with your
driving.
Keep the volume at a level which you could hear sounds from outside the vehicle.
Do not work in extremely high or low temperature. Be sure the temperature inside
the vehicle is between +60°C and -10°C before turning on your unit.
When replacing the fuse(s), the replacement must be of the same amperage as
shown on the fuse holder.
Do not block vents or radiator panels. Blocking them will cause heat to build up
inside and may result in re.
Using this unit without running the engine can result in battery drainage
Use only in cars with a 12 volt negative ground.
After completing the installation or replacing the car battery you need to RESET the
unit before using it. Remove the front panel and press RESET button on the base
with pointed object (such as ball-point pen) to reset the unit to its initial settings.

Caution!
- Make sure to connect the colour coded leads according to the diagram. Incorrect
connections may cause the unit to malfunction or damage the vehicle’s electrical sys-
tem.
- Make sure to connect the speaker (-) leads to the speaker (-) terminal. Never con-
nect the left and right channel speaker cables each other or to the vehicle body.
- Make sure all the connections are completely correct before turning on your unit.

Install the front panel
Put notch A (Shown as picture) onto shaft B. And then slightly press into the right side.
Note: Never put any objects into the front panel.
Detach the Unit
1. Detach the front panel. (Please refer to upper part)
2. Take out the outer trim frame.

INSTALL AND REMOVE THE UNIT 2. Select a position where the screw holes of the mounting bracket supplied with the

Do not connect the ignition wire (red) and the battery wire (yellow), it may cause
a short circuit, even result in re.

Scanning and memorizing stations
Automatic memory storing
In tuner mode, press and hold (20) button for 3 seconds to start automatic AMS/SCH
scanning and station store on numeric buttons 1-6.
- Preset scan
Press (20) button shortly to start preset stations scan. All preset stations are AMS/SCH
scrolled during few seconds. To remain on a station, press again the (20) AMS/SCH
button.
- Preset buttons (13-18)1- 6
1. Tune to a station with or (23/24).
2. Press and hold one of the preset buttons (13-18) for 2 seconds until LCD shows 1- 6
the corresponding number, which indicates that station is stored on this number.
3. In radio mode, press preset buttons (13-18) to listen to stored stations.1- 6
Note: The unit can be stored up to 6 stations for each band.
-LOC ON/ OFF: SEL/VOLRepeatedly press knob (3) to select “LOC” mode. When
ON, the strong signal local stations can be received, when OFF, the week signal out-of-
town stations may be received.
-STEREO / MONO: SEL/VOL Repeatedly press knob (3) to select STEREO/ MONO”
mode. FM listening is generally done in Stereo mode. However, if the signal is weak or
reception is not as good as you would like, switching to Mono mode usually improves
the overall sound quality.
RDS (Radio Data System)
This unit has a built-in RDS decoder system that supports broadcast stations trans-
mitting RDS data. This system can display the name of the broadcast station being
received (PS) and can automatically switch to the broadcast station with the best re-
ception as you move on long distances (AF switching). Also, if a trafc announcement
(TA) or programme type (PTY) is broadcast from a RDS station, no matter what mode
you are in, this broadcast is received. Additionally, if EON information is received, this
information enables automatic switching of other preset stations on the same network
and interruption of the station being received with trafc information from other stations.
This function is not available in some areas.
- Alternative frequency selecting (AF)
The AF function switches automatically to a different frequency on the same network in
order to maintain optimum reception. Press button (7) to select AF function. If the AF
reception of the current broadcast station deteriorates, “AF” appears in the display and
the radio searches for the same program on another frequency. Press AF button (7)
again to cancel this function.
When reception is bad, the “AF” icon blinks.
Press and hold button (7) for 5 seconds to switch between “REG ON” and “REG AF
OFF” mode:
REG ON: should be selected to listen to the REGIONAL broadcast of the current sta-
tion, even if there is a national broadcast of this station.
REG OFF: should be selected to listen to the national broadcast of the current station.
- Trafc announcement (TA)
In the TA standby mode, when a trafc announcement broadcast starts, this one is re-
ceived with top priority that you can listen to it, regardless of the current function mode.
Trafc programme (TP) automatic tuning is also possible.
Press TA button (6), when LCD shows TA”, traffic program will be automatically
searched and saved. When LCD shows “TP”, this means that the RDS broadcast sta-
tion being received has trafc announcement programmes.
If you press TA button (6) while a trafc announcement broadcast is being received,
the trafc announcement broadcast reception is cancelled and the unit goes into the TA
standby mode.
If a TP station is not found, the unit continues searching, “TA SEEK” is displayed.
Press TA button (6) again to stop searching, “TA” goes off.
ALARM
“ALARM” is displayed when an emergency broadcasting is received and the sound
level is set to the preset output level (TA Volume) automatically.
EON: (Enhanced Other Networks Information)
Press and rotating SEL/VOL (3) to select EON mode, EON ON. When receive the
EON information, the EON indication is on. With EON facility, it offers the ability for
local stations to break intoa national station’s broadcast for the duration of a Trafc
Announcement.
Program type (PTY) selection
When is selected (12), the radio starts to search for corresponding PTY informa-PTY
tion and stops when a corresponding station is found.
If corresponding PTY information is not found, the PTY search mode is automatically
stopped.
Press repeatedly PTY button (12) to set as follows:
Within above 2 groups, press repeatedly a preset number knob to select a program
type as follows:
To insert a SD, SDHC or MMC card (not included)
Press button (2) to fold down the front panel rst, take out the front panel, and In
sert your SD, SDHC or MMC card in the card slot (4). Install and close the front panel,
playback will start automatically. If a card has already been inserted, press but- MODE
ton (21) to switch to card mode.
Basic player functions
Play/Pause: 1/PAU press (18) to suspend momentarily the track playback. Press (18)
again to resume playback.
Skip/Fast search: press button (24) to skip forward to next track and (23) to
skip backward to previous track. Press and hold or (23/24) to search quickly
within a track.
Intro scan: 2/INT press button (17), INT ON” is displayed, the set will play the rst
10 seconds of each track of the USB device or SD/SDHC/MMC card. Press it again to
cancel this function and keep on playing the current track. “INT OFF” is displayed.
Repeat: RPTPress button (16) once to repeat the current track. Press it twice to re-
peat the current directory. Press three times to repeat all.
Random playback: RDM Press button (15), “RDM ON” is displayed, all tracks will be
played randomly. Press it again to cancel this function, “RDM OFF” is displayed.
SELECTING A DIRECTORY: DIR DIR Press - button (14) or + button (13) to select di-
rectory downward or upward. If the MP3 contents does not have any directory, - (14) DIR
and + buttons (13) are inactive.DIR
Searching a track in MP3-USB/SD
1. Press button (20) once, AMS/SCH
2. Use the numeric keys to enter the track number,
3. Press knob (3) to start playing.SEL/VOL
Exit USB/SD card mode
To exit USB or card mode, disconnect your USB device or your card from the unit, the
set will switch to tuner mode automatically.
Note
* There are many USB devices or SD/SDHC/MMC card in the market. We cannot
guarantee to support all different models. Please try another USB device or SD/SDHC/
MMC card if yours is not supported.
* The unit might not support all the multimedia les stored in SD/SDHC/MMC card or
USB because it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compat-
ible with the procedure of this unit.
1. Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack (10)
2. Press (1) button to turn the unit on.POWER
3. Press (21) to select AUX mode.MODE
4. Start playback from your auxiliary source.
5. Adjust the volume (3) to desired level.
6. To stop, disconnect your auxiliary source from the Aux in jack (10), press but-MODE
ton (7) to select other source.
To insert a USB device (not included)
Open the plastic lid, connect your USB device to the USB port (9), the set will switch to
“USB” mode automatically. If USB has already been inserted, press button (21) MODE
to switch to USB mode.

MAINTENANCE
Precaution
- Clean the front panel with a soft cloth, or damp chamois leather. Never use solvents.
- Do not expose to rain or water;
- Do not drop or apply shock.
- Make sure that you keep your set away from water and high temperatures.
- The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
- Do not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and that no object lled with liquids, such
as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- No naked ame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.
Cleaning the Connector
If the connector between the main unit and the front panel is dirty, it may result in ab-
normal working condition. To avoid such problems, detach the front panel and clean
the connector with an alcohol swab. Gently clean to avoid damaging the connector.
Notes:
For the sake of safety, always shut down the generator and take out the key from the
ignition before cleaning. Never keep your nger or any metal device in contact with the
connector directly.
Replacing the Fuse
Make sure the amperage matches the specied value when replacing the fuses. If the
fuse is blown, check the power connection and replace with a new one. If the same
problem occurs, it could be caused by an internal malfunction. In such cases, please
consult the nearest service dealer.

Volume:
To increase or decrease the sound level, rotate knob (3) clockwise or anti-SEL/VOL
clockwise.
Sound Settings
Repeatedly press knob (3) to select the desired mode in the following order: SEL/ VOL
“BAS” (Bass) -> “TRE” (Treble) -> “BAL” (Balance) -> “FAD“ (Fader) -> “TA VOL“ (TA
volume) ->”REG” (REG ON /OFF) -> “EON” (EON ON/ OFF) -> LOC” (LOC ON/ OFF)
->STEREO/ MONO -> “VOL” (Volume). After selecting the desired mode, you can
adjust the current level by rotating the knob (3). SEL/ VOL
Note: -The unit will return to the previous mode if no adjusting happens within 3 sec
onds.

Preset equalizer
When you are listening to popular, classic or rock music, use the EQ function to adjust
the sound quality. Press (22) to select different equalizer mode:FLAT->POP-> EQ
ROCK->CLASS -> EQ OFF.
Switching Loudness On/Off
Press and hold button (19) until “LOUD ON” shows on display to activate BAND/LOUD
LOUDNESS function. With this function, you increase the low frequency, which can im-
prove sound sensitivity. Press and hold this button again until “LOUD OFF” is displayed
to cancel LOUDNESS function.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
Band selection
In tuner mode, repeatedly press button (19) to select bands: FM1->FM2BAND/ LOUD
->FM3.
Station search
- Manual Tuning
Press and hold button or (23/24) until “MANUAL” shows on display, then press
button or (23/24) continuously to select a station downward or upward. Press
and hold button or (23/24) to tune to a station with a faster speed.
Note: The unit will return to the “AUTO” scanning mode if no adjusting happens within
5 seconds.
- Automatic Tuning
Press or (23/24) once, the radio automatically searches a station downward or
upward respectively and plays when it nds a station. Press or (23/24) again to
stop scanning.
BASIC OPERATIONS
Turn on/off the unit
Press button (1) to turn on the unit. Press this button again to turn off the unit.POWER
Current time display
Press button (11) to display the current time when unit is ON. DSP
To set the time:
Press and hold DSP (11) button until clock time with ashing hour digits appears. Then
Press and button to adjust the hour value and press DSP (11) to conrm.
Then minute digits ash. Press and button to adjust the minute value and
press DSP (11) to conrm
Information display
Successive key presses on DSP (11) button.
- In case of receiving a RDS station.
The display will show: CT (Current Time) -> FREQ (Frequency) -> PTY (Program Type)
-> PS (Program Service name)
- In case of receiving a station without RDS
The display will show: CT -> FREQ -> NO PTY -> NO PS
Note: It will return to normal display mode if no key is pressed within 5 seconds.
Mode selection
Press MODE (21) button to select different sourcing mode: Radio→ USB →SD/SDHC/
MMC →AUX
Reset the unit
Operating the unit for the rst time or after replacing the car battery, you must reset the
unit. To set the unit to initial status, press button (8) located on the base with RESET
a pointed object. When some errors occur in display, you can also reset the unit, but it
will erase the clock setting and some memorized functions.
