exhausting of gases through the ๎™ฐue (chimney) of fuel๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ
burning equipment to prevent backdrafting. Follow the
heating equipment manufacturerโ€™s guidelines and safety
standards such as those published by the National Fire
Protection๎˜ƒAssociation๎˜ƒ(NFPA),๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒAmerican๎˜ƒSociety๎˜ƒfor๎˜ƒ
Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE) and the๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒlocal code๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒauthorities.
5. This product may have sharp edges. Be careful to avoid
cuts and abrasions during installation and cleaning.
6. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not dam-
age electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.
7. Ducted fans must always be vented to the outdoors.
8. Use only metal ductwork.
9. Do not use this unit with any other solid-state speed
control device.
10. This unit must be grounded.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A RANGE TOP GREASE FIRE:
1. Never leave surface units unattended at high settings.
Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may
ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
2. Always turn hood ON when cooking at high heat or
when๎˜ƒcooking๎˜ƒ๎™ฐaming foods๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ(i.e. Crรชpes๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒSuzette,๎˜ƒCher-
ries Jubilee, Peppercorn Beef Flambรฉ).๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ
3. Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not be
allowed to๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒaccumulate on๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒfan or ๎™ฏlters.๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ

PREVENT BURNS. IF THE FLAMES DO NOT GO OUT IM-
MEDIATELY, EVACUATE AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
2. NEVER PICK UP A FLAMING PAN โ€“ You may be burned.
3. DO NOT USE WATER, including wet dishcloths or towels โ€“
This could cause a violent steam explosion.
4. Use an extinguisher ONLY if:
A. You know you have a Class ABC extinguisher and you know
how to operate it.

5. Your hood motor has a thermal overload which will auto-

motor will restart when it cools down. If the motor continues
to shut o๎›ง๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒand restart, have the hood serviced.๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒ
6. The bottom of the hood MUST NOT BE LESS than 24โ€ and
at a maximum of 30โ€ above cooktop for best capture of
cooking impurities.
7.๎˜ƒ Two๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒinstallers are๎˜ƒrecommended because๎˜ƒ ๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒsize๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒthis๎˜ƒ
hood.

front of the hood canopy.
The๎˜ƒfan๎˜ƒOFF๎˜ƒpushbutton๎˜ƒturns๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒfan๎˜ƒo๎›ง.
The fan low, medium and high speed pushbuttons turn
the๎˜ƒfan๎˜ƒon๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒthree๎˜ƒdi๎›งerent๎˜ƒspeed๎˜ƒsettings.
The๎˜ƒlight๎˜ƒpushbutton๎˜ƒturns๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒlights๎˜ƒon๎˜ƒand๎˜ƒo๎›ง.

part of this product that fails due to a defect in
material or workmanship will receive free repair
or replacement if repair proves impossible. The
length๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒthis๎˜ƒcoverage๎˜ƒdoes๎˜ƒnot๎˜ƒapply๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒ๎™ฏnish๎˜ƒ
of any painted or bright metal part.
โ€ข For thirty days date of purchase, any painted or
bright metal part of this product will be replaced
free๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒcharge๎˜ƒif๎˜ƒits๎˜ƒ๎™ฏnish๎˜ƒis๎˜ƒdefective๎˜ƒin๎˜ƒmaterial๎˜ƒ
or workmanship.
All warranty coverage is void if this product is ever
used for other than private household purposes.
This warranty covers only defects in material and

5. Damage to or failure of this product resulting
from accident, abuse, misuse or use for other

6. Damage to or failure of this product caused
by the use of detergents, cleaners, chemicals
or utensils other than those recommended in
all instructions supplied with the product.
7. Damage to or failure of parts or systems result-
ing๎˜ƒfrom๎˜ƒunauthorized๎˜ƒmodi๎™ฏcations๎˜ƒmade๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒ
this product.
Disclaimer of implied warranties; limitation of
remedies
Customerโ€™s sole and exclusive remedy under this
limited warranty shall be product repair as pro-
vided herein. Implied warranties, including warran-

Bulbs may be hot. Always allow bulbs
to cool down before removing them.
This๎˜ƒrange๎˜ƒhood๎˜ƒrequires๎˜ƒtwo๎˜ƒincandescent๎˜ƒbulbs๎˜ƒ(Type
B10, 120V, 40W Max,๎˜ƒcandelabra).
To install or change bulbs:
1. Remove grease filter by pushing in the metal latch
and tilting filter down.
2. -If non-duct filter is installed, remove filter by turn
ing filter mounting tabs.
3. Remove and discard bulb. Replace with new bulb.
4.๎˜ƒ Re-install๎˜ƒnon-duct๎˜ƒfilter๎˜ƒ(if๎˜ƒapplicable).
5. Re-install grease filter.
