IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the

appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.

Important : This appliance can be used by children over 8 years

old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of

the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with

the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made

by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within

reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons

when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.

❑ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on

the appliance. This unit must be only connected to a 220-240V

- 50Hz earthed outlet.

❑ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

❑ From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use

the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage.

In that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualied

electrician(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced

by a competent qualied electrician(*) in order to avoid all

danger.

❑ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way

indicated in these instructions.

❑ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for

any reason whatsoever. Avoid splashes on the appliance.

❑ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces. Do not allow the

power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.

❑ Ensure the power cord is not stretched, exposed to sharp

object/edges, or routed under the unit.

❑ Never use the appliance with an extension lead.

❑ Switch o the appliance and remove the power plug from the

mains electrical supply whenever the appliance is not in use,

before cleaning or when changing accessories.

❑ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry

producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk

to damage the appliance.

❑ Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the

cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around

the appliance and do not bend it.

unplugging it.

❑ Always place the appliance against a stable, at surface. Also

ensure that the surface can take the weight of the unit during

use.

❑ Adequate air space should be provided for air circulation (at

least 50cm).

❑ Warning: To reduce the risk of re or electrical shock, DO NOT

USE THIS FAN with any SOLID STATE Speed Control Device

or any variable speed controllers.

❑ Do not cover or restrict the airow.

❑ Do not use in dusty environment.

❑ Under no circumstances must the appliance come into contact

with curtains, clothing, dish towels or other ammable materials

during use.

❑ Do not use the fan in such place where the curtain may be

drawn in.

❑ When used in an inappropriate manner the appliance could

constitute a danger to the user, in that case the producer

cannot be held responsible for any kind of possible damages.

❑ Do not let the fan in use for long periods during your absence.

Make sure it is switched o before leaving.
