This appliance is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This
unit is designed to be operated at 120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will ļ¬t in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not ļ¬t fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not ļ¬t, contact a qualiļ¬ed
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.

Conairā€™s professional salon standards of
engineering provide you with a uniform and
improved heat recovery system that maintains
the hot brush at constant temperatures. There
is a constant surge of power to ensure that heat
is continuously and quickly delivered for optimal
styling results, unlike other units, which lose
heat during use. This provides consistent styling
power so that every strand of your hair gets the
same level of heat and comes out the same way
for a perfect finish.
The applianceā€™s 30 temperature settings and
instant heat technology combine to provide
styling versatility for all hair textures. If you have
ļ¬ne hair, a low temperature will provide the
best results. If you have thick, wavy or coarse
hair, keep the heat setting high. You can vary

WARNING: The hot brush will get very hot
within a few seconds and should not be
placed in contact with the skin after the
appliance is turned on. Always do a
temperature test before using the hot brush to
ensure the proper setting for your hair type.
Never leave your appliance on and
unattended. However, should you fail to
turn the unit off, it will shut itself off
automatically within 60 minutes.
To activate Turbo Heat
Ā®, press the Turbo button.
The green light will turn on and the red light will
blink. The barrel temperature will increase to
Turbo HeatĀ® temperature and hold at that heat
for about 30 seconds. After approximately 30
seconds, the green LED will turn off and the
barrel temperature will decrease to the original
temperature selected without Turbo Heat
Ā®. If you
want to activate Turbo Heat
Ā® again, press the
Turbo button again. Never leave your appliance
on and unattended. However, should you fail to
turn the unit off, it will shut itself off
automatically within 60 minutes.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the hot brush into an electrical outlet. Turn
on unit. The power indicator light will illuminate.
Allow unit to heat up for 30 seconds.

TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry before
using the hot brush. For best results, use a
light styling product before blow-drying hair.
Section hair evenly, and comb each section
before winding.
1. Roll one small section of hair at a time around
the hot brush ā€” start at the bottom of the
section and roll up. TO AVOID TANGLING,
NEVER ROLL HAIR AROUND THE HOT BRUSH
MORE THAN TWO TIMES. When hair is warm
(not hot) to the touch, the curl is set. For hair
that is harder to curl, leave the hot brush in
place a little longer. A hot brush generallyNOTE:
gives a looser curl than a curling iron ā€“ for
very hard-to-curl hair, try switching to your
curling iron.
2. The hot brush can be used for quick
touch-ups. After heating the hot brush, simply
brush the hair back to its original style.
NOTE: Please refer to the Temperature Setting
Guide for heat settings. For faster styling results,
we have added a unique, optional Turbo HeatĀ®
ON/OFF feature. For maximum styling
performance, press the Turbo Heat(r) button
to deliver up to 18Ā°F/10Ā°C more heat than the
highest setting.

CƓMO RIZAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Para obtener
resultados Ć³ptimos, aplique una lociĆ³n fijadora
ligera en el cabello antes de secarlo. Divida
el cabello en secciones uniformes y peine
cada secciĆ³n.
1.. Trabajando de abajo hacia arriba de
cabeza, separe una secciĆ³n delgada de cabello
y enrĆ³llela alrededor del cepillo. PARA EVITAR
LOS ENREDOS, NUNCA DƉ MƁS DE DOS
VUELTAS ALREDEDOR DEL CEPILLO. Cuando
el cabello estƩ tibio (ya no caliente), el rizo estƔ
fijado. Si su cabello es resistente, espere un
poco mƔs antes de sacar el cepillo. Por loNOTA:
general, los cepillos calientes crean rizos mƔs
suaves que las tenazas. Si su cabello es muy
resistente, pueda que tenga que usar una
tenaza para rizarlo.
