Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned appli-
ances are still dangerous….. even if they will “just sit in the garage a few days”
Before you throw away your old Wine Cooler: Take off the door, Leave the shelves in
place so that children may not climb inside easily.
Never allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside the appliance.
Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or
explosion.
Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance. The fumes can cause a fire hazard or explosion.

Do not damage the refrigerant circuit pipes.

cleaning the appliance ensure that the refrigerant circuit is not damaged. In the event of
damage, make sure that there are no ignition sources nearby and keep the room well ven-
tilated.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your Wine Cooler
Remove the exterior and interior packing materials.
Before connecting the Wine Cooler to the power source, let it stand upright with open doors
for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system due to handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
Installation of your Wine Cooler
This appliance is designed to be for free standing or built in (fully recesses) installation. -
Place your Wine Cooler on a surface floor which is strong enough to support it when fully
loaded. To level your Wine Cooler, adjust the front levelling leg at the bottom of the Wine
Cooler.
Standard EN 378 specifies that the room in which you install your appliance must have a
volume of 1 m³per 8g of R600a refrigerant used in the appliance, so as to avoid the forma-
tion of inflammable gas/air mixture in the room where the appliance is located in the event
of a leak in the refrigerant circuit. The quantity of the refrigerant used in your appliance is
indicated on the type plate on the inside of the appliance.
Locate the Wine Cooler away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radia-
tor, etc.) Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase elec-
trical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to per-
form properly.
Avoid locating the appliance in damp areas.
Plug the Wine Cooler into an exclusive, properly installed grounded wall outlet. Any ques-
tions concerning power and grounding should be d rected to a certified electrician or an i
autho ised product service centre. r
OPERATING YOUR WINE COOLER
The Wine Cooler should be placed in where the ambient temperature is between 32 95 degrees -
Fahrenheit (0 35°C). If the ambient temperature is above or below this range, the performance of -
the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme hot or cold conditions may
cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The range of 40 65 degrees Fahrenheit (5 18°C) may not - -
be reached.
Recommended temperatures for Wine Cooling
Red Wines 58 65°F (15 18°C) - -
Dry/white wines 48 57°F (9 15°C) - -
Sparkling wines 40 47°F (5 9°C) - -
ON/OFF power
To turn the appliance ON or OFF, press the POWER button.
Setting the temperature controls
Each cooling compartment of the Wine Cooler (upper and lower) is independently con-
trolled. To set the temperature:
Connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet. In the event of a power interruption,
all previous temperature settings are automatically erased and each compartment will de-
fault to a preset temperature.
You can set the temperature for each compartment by pushing the SET UPPER or SET
LOWER button. Each depression of the buttons will scroll through the available tempera-
ture settings ( for each compartment) in increments of 1 d gree. e
When you store mostly red wines, the temperature you control by pushing the button,
needs to be set at between 58 65°F (15 18°C). - -
When you store mostly white wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 48 57°F -
(9 15°C). -
When you store mostly sparkling wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 40-
70°F (5 9°C). -
You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing
the SET UPPER and SET LOWER button at the same time for 5 seconds.
Upper compartment: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 41°F to 64°F (5°C 18°C) -
Lower compartment: The temperature setting can be adjusted from 41°F to 64°F (5°C 18°C) -
NOTE: If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes b fore ree -
starting the appliance. If you attempt to start before this time delay the Wine Cooler will
not start.
When you use the Wine Cooler for the first time or restart the Wine Cooler after having
been shut off for a long time, let the unit run for at least 8h to get the desired tempera-
ture.
Interior Light
You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pushing the LIGHT button.
