1. VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE
Lees zorgvuldig de meegeleverde instructies voor
installatie en gebruik van het apparaat. De fabrikant is
niet verantwoordelijk voor letsel en schade veroorzaakt
door een foutieve installatie. Bewaar de instructies van
het apparaat voor toekomstig gebruik.
1.1 Veiligheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen
•Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8
jaar en ouder en door mensen met beperkte
lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke vermogens
of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, indien zij onder
toezicht staan of instructies hebben gekregen over het
veilig gebruiken van het apparaat en indien zij de
eventuele gevaren begrijpen.
•Laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
•Reiniging en onderhoud mag niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen zonder toezicht.
•Houd alle verpakkingsmaterialen uit de buurt van
kinderen.
1.2 Algemene veiligheid
•Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik of
gelijksoortige toepassingen zoals:
–Boerderijen, personeelskeukens in winkels,
kantoren of andere werkomgevingen
–Door gasten in hotels, motels, bed&breakfasts en
andere woonomgevingen
•Houd de ventilatieopeningen altijd vrij van
obstructies; dit geldt zowel voor losstaande als
ingebouwde modellen.
•Gebruik geen mechanische of andere middelen om
het ontdooiproces te versnellen, behalve die
middelen die door de fabrikant zijn aanbevolen.
•Let op dat u het koelcircuit niet beschadigt.
•Gebruik geen elektrische apparaten in de koelkast,
tenzij deze door de fabrikant worden aanbevolen.

•Gebruik geen waterstralen of stoom om het apparaat
te reinigen.
•Maak het apparaat schoon met een vochtige, zachte
doek. Gebruik alleen neutrale schoonmaakmiddelen.
Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen, schuursponsjes,
oplosmiddelen of metalen voorwerpen.
•Bewaar geen explosieve substanties zoals spuitbussen
met drijfgas in dit apparaat.
•Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet de
fabrikant, een erkende serviceverlener of een
gekwalificeerd persoon deze vervangen teneinde
gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
2. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
2.1 Montage
WAARSCHUWING!
Alleen een erkende
installatietechnicus mag het
apparaat installeren.
• Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen.
• Installeer en gebruik geen
beschadigd apparaat.
• Volg de installatie-instructies op die
zijn meegeleverd met het apparaat.
• Wees voorzichtig met het verplaatsen
van het apparaat, het is zwaar. Draag
altijd veiligheidshandschoenen.
• Zorg ervoor dat rond het apparaat
lucht kan circuleren.
• Wacht ten minste 4 uur alvorens het
apparaat aan de netstroom aan te
sluiten. Hierdoor kan de olie terug in
de compressor stromen.
• Installeer het apparaat niet in de
nabijheid van radiators, fornuizen,
ovens of kookplaten.
• De achterzijde van het apparaat moet
tegen de muur worden geplaatst.
• Installeer het apparaat niet op een
plaats met direct zonlicht.
• Gebruik dit apparaat niet in gebieden
die te vochtig of te koud zijn, zoals
bijgebouwen, garages of kelders.
• Til de voorkant van het apparaat op
als u hem wilt verplaatsen, om krassen
op de vloer te voorkomen.
2.2 Aansluiting op het
elektriciteitsnet
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaar voor brand en
elektrische schokken.
• Dit apparaat moet worden
aangesloten op een geaard
stopcontact.
• Controleer of de elektrische
informatie op het typeplaatje
overeenkomt met de
stroomvoorziening. Zo niet, neem dan
contact op met een elektromonteur.
• Gebruik altijd een correct
geïnstalleerd, schokbestendig
stopcontact.
• Gebruik geen meerwegstekkers en
verlengsnoeren.
• Zorg dat u de elektrische onderdelen
(hoofdstekker, kabel, compressor) niet
beschadigt. Neem contact met de
erkende servicedienst of een
elektricien om de elektrische
onderdelen te wijzigen.
• De stroomkabel moet lager blijven
dan het niveau van de stopcontact.
• Steek de stekker pas in het
stopcontact als de installatie is
voltooid. Zorg ervoor dat het
netsnoer na installatie bereikbaar is.
• Trek niet aan het netsnoer om het
apparaat los te koppelen. Trek altijd
aan de stekker.

2.3 Gebruik
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaar op letsel,
brandwonden of elektrische
schokken.
• De specificatie van het apparaat mag
niet worden veranderd.
• Plaats geen elektrische apparaten
(bijv. ijsmachines) in het apparaat
tenzij uitdrukkelijk geschikt verklaard
door de fabrikant.
• Zorg ervoor dat u het koelcircuit niet
beschadigt. Het bevat isobutaan
(R600a), aardgas met een hoge
ecologische compatibiliteit. Dit gas is
ontvlambaar.
• Als er schade aan het koelcircuit
optreedt, zorg er dan voor dat er zich
geen vlammen en andere
ontstekingsbronnen in de kamer
bevinden. Ventileer de kamer goed.
• Zet geen hete items op de
kunststofonderdelen van het
apparaat.
• Plaats geen koolzuurhoudende
dranken in het vriesvak. Dit zal extra
druk in de drankfles veroorzaken.
• Bewaar geen ontvlambare gassen en
vloeistoffen in het apparaat.
• Plaats geen ontvlambare producten
of items die vochtig zijn door
ontvlambare producten in, bij of op
het apparaat.
• Raak de compressor of condensator
niet aan. Ze zijn heet.
• Zorg ervoor dat u nooit met natte of
vochtige handen items uit het vriesvak
verwijderd of aanraakt.
• Vries ontdooide voedingswaren nooit
opnieuw in.
• Bewaar de voedingswaren volgens de
instructies op de verpakking.
2.4 Onderhoud en reiniging
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaar voor letsel of schade
aan het apparaat.
• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u
onderhoudshandelingen verricht.
• Het koelcircuit van dit apparaat bevat
koolwaterstoffen. Enkel bevoegde
personen mogen de eenheid
onderhouden en herladen.
• Controleer regelmatig de afvoer van
het apparaat en reinig het indien
nodig. Indien de afvoer verstopt is, zal
er water op de bodem van het
apparaat liggen.
2.5 Verwijdering
WAARSCHUWING!
Gevaar voor letsel of
verstikking.
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Snij het netsnoer van het apparaat af
en gooi dit weg.
• Verwijder de deur om te voorkomen
dat kinderen en huisdieren
opgesloten raken in het apparaat.
• Het koelcircuit en de
isolatiematerialen van dit apparaat
zijn ozonvriendelijk.
• Het isolatieschuim bevat ontvlambare
gassen. Neem contact met uw
plaatselijke overheid voor informatie
m.b.t. correcte afvalverwerking van
het apparaat.
• Veroorzaak geen schade aan het deel
van de koeleenheid dat zich naast de
warmtewisselaar bevindt.

3. BEDIENING
3.1 Bedieningspaneel

3.2 Inschakelen
Laat het apparaat na plaatsing 4 uur
staan.
Steek dan de stekker in het stopcontact.
1. Het groene indicatielampje gaat
branden en blijft branden tot de
stekker uit het stopcontact wordt
gehaald.
2. Laat gedurende 8 uren werken om
de juiste temperatuur te bereiken
alvorens voedsel in het apparaat te
plaatsen.
Het rode indicatielampje blijft
branden tot de juiste temperatuur
bereikt is.
3. Als het apparaat de ingestelde
temperatuur heeft bereikt (het rode
indicatielampje is uit), pas dan de
thermostaatknop aan volgens de
hoeveelheid voedsel in het apparaat.
Als het apparaat een paar
uur aan staat, gaat het rode
indicatielampje uit om aan
te tonen dat de juiste
temperatuur is bereikt voor
de gekozen instelling en het
blijft uit om aan te geven dat
alles in orde is. Het gaat aan
als de vriezertemperatuur
overmatig stijgt,
bijvoorbeeld nadat de
vriezerdeur is geopend of
nadat er voedsel in de
vriezer is geplaatst maar het
lampje moet weer uit gaan
als de juiste
opslagtemperatuur weer is
bereikt.
3.3 Uitschakelen
1. Trek om het apparaat uit te
schakelen de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
2. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact
om de stroomtoevoer naar het
apparaat af te sluiten.
3.4 Temperatuurregeling
De temperatuur in het apparaat wordt
geregeld door de thermostaatknop op
het bedieningspaneel.

Ga als volgt te werk om het apparaat in
werking te stellen:
• draai de temperatuurregelaar naar
MIN voor minimale koudestand.
• draai de temperatuurregelaar naar
MAX voor maximale koudestand.
Bij het invriezen van kleinere
volumes voeding is de
positie Halfgeladen de
meest geschikte. Bij het
invriezen van grote
hoeveelheden voeding is de
positie Volgeladen de meest
geschikte.
LET OP!
Plaats ter voorkoming van
schade geen zware noch
hete voorwerpen bovenop
het apparaat.
4. HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
4.1 De binnenkant
schoonmaken
Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste
keer gebruikt, wast u de binnenkant en
de interne accessoires met lauwwarm
water en een beetje neutrale zeep om de
typische geur van een nieuw product
weg te nemen. Droog daarna grondig af.
LET OP!
Gebruik geen
oplosmiddelen of
schuurmiddelen. Deze
beschadigen de lak.
5. DAGELIJKS GEBRUIK
WAARSCHUWING!
Raadpleeg de hoofdstukken
Veiligheid.
5.1 Invriezen van vers voedsel
Het (bovenste) vriesvak is geschikt voor
het invriezen van vers voedsel en voor
het voor een lange periode bewaren van
ingevroren en diepgevroren voedsel.
Om verse voeding in te vriezen, plaats
het in het vriescompartiment (bovenaan)
en laat het daar gedurende 24 uur
liggen.
Plaats het bevroren voedsel in het
(onderste) vriesvak om ruimte te maken
voor het invriezen van nieuw voedsel.
De maximale hoeveelheid voedsel die in
24 uur ingevroren kan worden, staat
vermeld op het typeplaatje, een etiket
dat zich aan de binnenkant van het
apparaat bevindt.
Het invriesproces duurt 24 uur. voeg
tijdens deze periode geen ander voedsel
toe om in te vriezen.
5.2 Het bewaren van
ingevroren voedsel
Als u het apparaat voor het eerst of na
een periode dat het niet gebruikt is
inschakelt, dient u het apparaat minstens
8 uur op een hoge instelling te laten
werken voordat u er producten in plaatst.

In het geval van onbedoelde
ontdooiing, bijvoorbeeld als
de stroom langer is
uitgevallen dan de duur die
op de kaart met technische
kenmerken onder
"maximale bewaartijd bij
stroomuitval" is vermeld,
moet het ontdooide voedsel
snel geconsumeerd worden
of onmiddellijk bereid
worden en dan weer worden
ingevroren (nadat het
afgekoeld is).
5.3 Ontdooien
Diepgevroren of ingevroren voedsel kunt
u, voordat het gebruikt wordt, in het
koelvak of op kamertemperatuur laten
ontdooien, afhankelijk van de
hoeveelheid tijd die hiervoor nodig is.
Kleine stukken kunnen zelfs rechtstreeks
vanuit de vriezer gekookt worden als ze
nog bevroren zijn: in dat geval zal de
bereiding iets langer duren.
6. AANWIJZINGEN EN TIPS
6.1 Normale bedrijfsgeluiden:
De volgende geluiden zijn normaal
tijdens de werking:
• Een zacht gorgelend en borrelend
geluid als het koelmiddel door
leidingen wordt gepompt.
• Een zoemend en kloppend geluid van
de compressor als het koelmiddel
wordt rondgepompt.
• Een plotseling krakend geluid uit de
binnenkant van het apparaat
veroorzaakt door thermische
uitzetting (een natuurlijk en
ongevaarlijk natuurkundig fenomeen).
• Een zacht klikkend geluid van de
thermostaat als de compressor aan of
uit gaat.
6.2 Tips voor
energiebesparing
• De deur niet vaker openen of open
laten staan dan strikt noodzakelijk.
6.3 Tips voor het invriezen
Om u te helpen het voedsel zo goed
mogelijk in te vriezen, volgen hier een
paar belangrijke tips:
• de maximale hoeveelheid voedsel die
in 24 uur ingevroren kan worden, staat
vermeld op het typeplaatje;
• het invriesproces duurt 24 uur. Tijdens
deze periode moet er geen ander in
te vriezen voedsel worden
toegevoegd;
• vries alleen vers en grondig
schoongemaakte levensmiddelen van
uitstekende kwaliteit in;
• bereid het voedsel in kleine porties
voor, zo kan het snel en volledig
worden ingevroren en zo kunt u later
alleen die hoeveelheid laten
ontdooien die u nodig heeft;
• wikkel het voedsel in aluminiumfolie
of plastic en zorg ervoor dat de pakjes
luchtdicht zijn;
• leg vers, nog niet ingevroren voedsel
niet tegen het al ingevroren voedsel,
om te voorkomen dat dit laatste warm
wordt;
• mager voedsel kan beter worden
ingevroren dan vet voedsel. Zout
zorgt dat het voedsel in de vriezer
minder lang goed blijft;
• water bevriest, als dit rechtstreeks uit
het vriesvak geconsumeerd wordt,
kan het aan de huid vastvriezen;
• het is aan te bevelen de invriesdatum
op elk pakje te vermelden, dan kunt u
zien hoe lang het al bewaard is.
6.4 Tips voor het bewaren van
ingevroren voedsel
Om de beste resultaten van dit apparaat
te verkrijgen, dient u
• verzeker u ervan dat de commercieel
ingevroren levensmiddelen op
geschikte wijze door de
detailhandelaar werden opgeslagen;
• zorg ervoor dat de ingevroren
levensmiddelen zo snel mogelijk van

8.1 Wat moet u doen als…

troleer dan nogmaals de
temperatuur.
De omgevingstemperatuur
is te hoog.
Zie het typeplaatje voor de
klimaatklasse.
Het voedsel dat in het appa-
raat werd geplaatst, was te
warm.
Laat voedsel afkoelen tot ka-
mertemperatuur voordat u
het bewaart.
De deur is niet goed geslo-
ten.
Zie 'De deur sluiten'.
Er is te veel rijp en ijs. De deur is niet correct
gesloten of de deurpakking
is vervormd/vies.
Zie 'De deur sluiten'.
De dop van de waterafvoer
bevindt zich niet op de juiste
plaats.
Plaats de dop voor de water-
afvoer op de juiste manier.
De producten zijn niet op de
juiste wijze verpakt.
Pak de producten beter in.
De temperatuur is goed in-
gesteld.
Raadpleeg het hoofdstuk
'Bediening'.
De deur is verkeerd uitge-
lijnd of komt tegen het ven-
tilatierooster aan.
Het apparaat staat niet wa-
terpas.
Zie 'Waterpas zetten'.
De temperatuur in het appa-
raat is te laag/hoog.
De temperatuurknop is niet
goed ingesteld.
Stel een hogere/lagere tem-
peratuur in.

tot resultaten leidt, de
dichtstbijzijnde

8.2 De deur sluiten
1. Maak de afdichtingen van de deur
schoon.
2. Stel de deur, indien nodig, af.
Raadpleeg "Montage".
3. Vervang, indien nodig, de defecte
deurafdichtingen. Neem contact op
met de klantenservice.
9. MONTAGE

9.1 Plaatsing
Dit apparaat kan worden geïnstalleerd
op een droge, goed geventileerde plek
binnenshuis waar de
omgevingstemperatuur overeenkomt
met de klimaatklasse die op het
typeplaatje van het apparaat wordt
weergegeven:

Voor sommige typen of
modellen kunnen zich enige
functionele problemen
voordoen als ze worden
gebruikt buiten dit bereik.
De juiste werking kan alleen
worden gegarandeerd
binnen het aangegeven
temperatuurbereik. Als u
twijfels hebt over waar het
apparaat te installeren,
raadpleeg dan de verkoper,
de klantenservice of de
dichstsbijzijnde erkende
servicedienst.
9.2 Afstandhouders achterkant
In het zakje met de handleiding zitten
twee afstandhouders die gemonteerd
moeten worden zoals te zien is in de
afbeelding.
1. Plaats de afstandhouders in de
openingen. Zorg er voor dat de pijl
(A) is gepositioneerd, zoals in de
afbeelding te zien is.

2. Draai de houders 45° linksom totdat
ze vergrendelen op de juiste plaats.
9.3 Nivellering
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat waterpas
staat wanneer u het plaatst. Deze stand
kan bereikt worden met de twee
afstelbare voetjes die aan de voorkant en
onderkant van het apparaat bevestigd
zijn.
9.4 Locatie
De stroomtoevoer aan het
apparaat moet verbroken
kunnen worden; de stekker
moet daarom na de
installatie gemakkelijk
toegankelijk zijn.
Het apparaat moet ver van hittebronnen,
zoals radiatoren, boilers, direct zonlicht
enz., vandaan worden geïnstalleerd. Zorg
er voor dat lucht vrij kan circuleren aan
de achterkant van het keukenkastje. Als
het apparaat onder een wandkast wordt
geplaatst, moet de minimale afstand
tussen de bovenkant van de kast en de
wandkast ten minste 100 mm bedragen
om optimale prestaties te garanderen.
Voor de beste prestaties kunt u het
apparaat echter beter niet onder een
wandkast zetten. De afstelbare voetjes
aan de onderkant van het apparaat
garanderen een nauwkeurig horizontale
uitlijning.

9.5 Omkeerbaarheid van de
deur
WAARSCHUWING!
Voordat werkzaamheden
worden uitgevoerd, moet u
zich ervan verzekeren dat de
stekker uit het stopcontact is
getrokken.
LET OP!
Om de volgende
handelingen uit te voeren,
raden we aan dit te doen
met de hulp van iemand
anders die de deuren van
het apparaat tijdens de
werkzaamheden stevig
vasthoudt.
1. Kantel het apparaat voorzichtig naar
achteren, zodat de compressor de
vloer niet kan raken.
2. Schroef beide afstelbare voetjes los.
3. Draai de schroeven van het onderste
deurscharnier los.
4. Verwijder de deur van het apparaat
door deze iets omlaag te trekken.
5. Schroef de bovenste
deurscharnierpen los en monteer
deze aan de andere kant.

6. Installeer de deur van het apparaat
op de bovenste deurscharnierpen.
7. Verwijder het onderste scharnier.
Verplaats de deurscharnierpen in de
richting van de pijl.
8. Draai de schroef los en monteer deze
aan de andere kant.
9. Installeer het onderste scharnier aan
de tegenovergestelde kant waarbij u
de stand van de deur ongewijzigd
laat.
10. Monteer de ene schroef op de plaats
die is vrijgekomen aan de andere
kant evenals de stelvoetjes (2 stuks).
11. Verwijder en installeer de handgreep
aan de andere kant.

LET OP!
Zet het apparaat op zijn
plaats, zet het waterpas,
wacht minstens vier uur en
steek dan de stekker in het
stopcontact.

Voer een eindcontrole uit en
verzeker u ervan dat:
• Alle schroeven zijn
aangedraaid.
• De magnetische
afdichtstrip vast zit aan
de kast.
• De deur goed open en
dicht gaat.
Als de
omgevingstemperatuur laag
is (bijv. in de winter), kan het
zijn dat het deurrubber niet
precies op de kast past.
Wacht in dat geval tot de
deurrubber zich op een

carefully read the supplied instructions. The
manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect
installation and use causes injuries and damages. Always
keep the instructions with the appliance for future

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
•Do not let children play with the appliance.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

1.2 General Safety
•This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Installation
WARNING!
Only a qualified person must
install this appliance.
• Remove all the packaging.
• Do not install or use a damaged
appliance.
• Obey the installation instruction
supplied with the appliance.
• Always be careful when you move the
appliance because it is heavy. Always
wear safety gloves.
• Make sure the air can circulate around
the appliance.
• Wait at least 4 hours before
connecting the appliance to the
power supply. This is to allow the oil
to flow back in the compressor.
• Do not install the appliance close to
radiators or cookers, oven or hobs.
• The rear of the appliance must stand
against the wall.
• Do not install the appliance where
there is direct sunlight.
• Do not install this appliance in areas
that are too humid or too colds, such
as the construction appendices,
garages or wine cellars.
• When you move the appliance, lift it
by the front edge to avoid scratching
the floor.
2.2 Electrical connection

• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that the electrical
information on the rating plate agrees
with the power supply. If not, contact
an electrician.
• Always use a correctly installed
shockproof socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and
extension cables.

the electrical components (e.g. mains
plug, mains cable, compressor).
Contact the Authorised Service
Centre or an electrician to change the
electrical components.
• The mains cable must stay below the
level of the mains plug.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket only at the end of the
installation. Make sure that there is
access to the mains plug after the
installation.
• Do not pull the mains cable to
disconnect the appliance. Always pull
the mains plug.

ice cream makers) in the appliance

isobutane (R600a), a natural gas with a
high level of environmental
compatibility. This gas is flammable.
• If damage occurs to the refrigerant
circuit, make sure that there are no
flames and sources of ignition in the
room. Ventilate the room.
• Do not let hot items to touch the
plastic parts of the appliance.
• Do not put soft drinks in the freezer
compartment. This will create
pressure on the drink container.
• Do not store flammable gas and
liquid in the appliance.
• Do not put flammable products or
items that are wet with flammable
products in, near or on the appliance.
• Do not touch the compressor or the
condenser. They are hot.
• Do not remove or touch items from
the freezer compartment if your hands
are wet or damp.
• Do not freeze again food that has
been thawed.
• Obey the storage instructions on the
packaging of frozen food.
2.4 Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, deactivate the
appliance and disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket.
• This appliance contains hydrocarbons
in the cooling unit. Only a qualified
person must do the maintenance and
the recharging of the unit.
• Regularly examine the drain of the
appliance and if necessary, clean it. If
the drain is blocked, defrosted water
collects in the bottom of the
appliance.
2.5 Disposal

Risk of injury or suffocation.
• Disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.
• Remove the door to prevent children
and pets to be closed inside of the
appliance.
• The refrigerant circuit and the
insulation materials of this appliance
are ozone-friendly.
• The insulation foam contains
flammable gas. Contact your
municipal authority for information on
how to discard the appliance
correctly.
• Do not cause damage to the part of
the cooling unit that is near the heat
exchanger.

3. OPERATION
3.1 Control panel

3.2 Switching on
Leave the appliance to stand upright for
4 hours after installation.
Insert the plug into the wall socket.
1. The Green Indicator Light will light
up and remain lit until the appliance
is switched off.
2. Leave to run for 8 hours to allow the
correct temperature to be reached
before placing food inside.
The Red Indicator Light will stay on
until the correct temperature is
reached.
3. When the appliance has reached the
set temperature (the Red Indicator
Light has gone out) adjust the
Temperature Regulator according to
the quantity of the stored foods.
A few hours after starting up
the Red Indicator Light will
go out to show that the
correct temperature has
been reached for the setting
chosen and will stay out to
indicate that everything is in
order. It will come on if the
freezer temperature rises
unduly for instance, after
opening the freezer door or
placing food inside the
cabinet, but the light should
go out again when the
temperature returns to the
correct storage level.
3.3 Switching off
1. To turn off the appliance, disconnect
the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. To disconnect the appliance from the
power, disconnect the mains plug
from the wall socket.
3.4 Temperature regulation
The temperature within the appliance is
controlled by the Temperature Regulator
situated on the control panel.
To operate the appliance, proceed as
follows:

• turn the Temperature Regulator
toward MIN to obtain the minimum
coldness.
• turn the Temperature Regulator
toward MAX to obtain the maximum
coldness.
In case of freezing less food
volumes, the Half Loaded
setting is the most suitable.
In case of freezing large
food volumes, the Full
Loaded setting is the most
suitable.
CAUTION!
Do not place heavy nor hot
objects on top of the
appliance to avoid any
damage.
4. FIRST USE
4.1 Cleaning the interior
Before using the appliance for the first
time, the interior and all internal
accessories should be washed with
lukewarm water and some neutral soap
to remove the typical smell of a brand-
new product, then dried thoroughly.
CAUTION!
Do not use detergents or
abrasive powders, as these
will damage the finish.
5. DAILY USE
WARNING!

5.1 Freezing fresh food
The freezing (top) area is suitable for
freezing fresh food and storing frozen
and deep-frozen food for a long time.
To freeze fresh food, place it in the
freezing (top) compartment and leave it
there for 24 hours.
Move frozen food in the storing (lower)
compartments to make room for another
freezing.
The maximum amount of food that can
be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the
rating plate, a label located on the
inside of the appliance.
The freezing process lasts 24 hours:
during this period do not add other food
to be frozen.
5.2 Storage of frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period
out of use, before putting the products
in the compartment let the appliance run
at least 8 hours on the higher settings.
In the event of accidental
defrosting, for example due
to a power failure, if the
power has been off for
longer than the value shown
in the technical
characteristics chart under
"rising time", the defrosted
food must be consumed
quickly or cooked
immediately and then re-
frozen (after cooling).
5.3 Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to
being used, can be thawed in the
refrigerator compartment or at room
temperature, depending on the time
available for this operation.

Small pieces may even be cooked still
frozen, directly from the freezer: in this
case, cooking will take longer.
6. HINTS AND TIPS
6.1 Normal operating sounds
The following sounds are normal during
operation:
• A faint gurgling and bubbling sound
from coils sound when refrigerant is
pumped.
• A whirring and pulsating sound from
the compressor when refrigerant is
pumped.
• A sudden cracking noise from inside
appliance caused by thermic
dilatation (a natural and not
dangerous physical phenomenon).
• A faint click noise from the
temperature regulator when the
compressor switches on or off.
6.2 Hints for energy saving
• Do not open the door frequently or
leave it open longer than absolutely
necessary.
6.3 Hints for freezing
To help you make the most of the
freezing process, here are some
important hints:
• the maximum quantity of food which
can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on
the rating plate;
• the freezing process takes 24 hours
no further food to be frozen should
be added during this period;
• freeze only top quality, fresh and
thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs;
• prepare food in small portions to
enable it to be rapidly and completely
frozen and to make it possible
subsequently to thaw only the
quantity required;
• wrap up the food in aluminium foil or
polythene and make sure that the
packages are airtight;
• do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to
touch food which is already frozen,
thus avoiding a rise in temperature of
the latter;
• lean foods store better and longer
than fatty ones; salt reduces the
storage life of food;
• water ices, if consumed immediately
after removal from the freezer
compartment, can possibly cause the
skin to be freeze burnt;
• it is advisable to show the freezing in
date on each individual pack to
enable you to keep tab of the storage
time.
6.4 Hints for storage of frozen
food
To obtain the best performance from this
appliance, you should:
• make sure that the commercially
frozen foodstuffs were adequately
stored by the retailer;
• be sure that frozen foodstuffs are
transferred from the foodstore to the
freezer in the shortest possible time;
• not open the door frequently or leave
it open longer than absolutely
necessary;
• once defrosted, food deteriorates
rapidly and cannot be refrozen;
• do not exceed the storage period
indicated by the food manufacturer.

7.1 General warnings

Unplug the appliance before

maintenance operation.
This appliance contains
hydrocarbons in its cooling
unit; maintenance and
recharging must therefore
only be carried out by
authorized technicians.
The accessories and parts of
the appliance are not
suitable for washing in a
dishwasher.
7.2 Periodic cleaning
CAUTION!
Do not pull, move or
damage any pipes and/or
cables inside the cabinet.
CAUTION!
Take care of not to damage
the cooling system.
CAUTION!
When moving the cabinet,
lift it by the front edge to
avoid scratching the floor.
The equipment has to be cleaned
regularly:
1. Clean the inside and accessories with
lukewarm water and some neutral
soap.
2. Regularly check the door seals and
wipe clean to ensure they are clean
and free from debris.
3. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. If accessible, clean the condenser
and the compressor at the back of
the appliance with a brush.
This operation will improve the
performance of the appliance and
save electricity consumption.
7.3 Defrosting the freezer
CAUTION!
Never use sharp metal tools
to scrape off frost from the
evaporator as you could
damage it. Do not use a
mechanical device or any
artificial means to speed up
the thawing process other
than those recommended by
the manufacturer. A
temperature rise of the
frozen food packs, during
defrosting, may shorten their
safe storage life.
About 12 hours prior to
defrosting, set a lower
temperature, in order to
build up sufficient chill
reserve for the interruption
in operation.
A certain amount of frost will always form
on the freezer shelves and around the
top compartment.
Defrost the freezer when the frost layer
reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm.
1. Switch off the appliance, or pull out
electrical plug from the wall socket.
2. Remove any stored food, wrap it in
several layers of newspaper and put
it in a cool place.
WARNING!
Do not touch frozen
goods with wet hands.
Hands can freeze to the
goods.
3. Leave the door open and insert the
plastic scraper in the appropriate
seating at the bottom centre, placing
a basin underneath to collect the
defrost water.

In order to speed up the defrosting
process, place a pot of warm water in
the freezer compartment. In addition,
remove pieces of ice that break away
before defrosting is complete.
4. When defrosting is completed, dry
the interior thoroughly and keep the
scraper for future use.
5. Switch on the appliance.
6. Turn the Temperature Regulator to
the Full Loaded position and leave to
run for at least 8 hours.
7. After the Red Indicator Light has
gone out, reload the previously
removed food into the
compartments.
8. Adjust the Temperature Regulator
according to the quantity of the
stored foods.
7.4 Periods of non-operation
When the appliance is not in use for long
periods, take the following precautions:
1. Disconnect the appliance from
electricity supply.
2. Remove all food.
3. Defrost (if necessary) and clean the
appliance and all accessories.
4. Leave the door/doors open to
prevent unpleasant smells.
WARNING!
If the cabinet will be kept on,
ask somebody to check it
once in a while to prevent
the food inside from spoiling
in case of a power failure.

class indicated on the rating plate of the

9.2 Rear spacers
In the bag with the documentation, there
are two spacers which must be fitted as
shown in the figure.
1. Fit the spacers into the holes. Make
sure that the arrow (A) is positioned
as shown in the picture.

9.3 Levelling
When placing the appliance ensure that
it stands level. This can be achieved by
two adjustable feet at the bottom in
front.

It must be possible to
disconnect the appliance
from the mains power
supply; the plug must
therefore be easily
accessible after installation.
The appliance should be installed well
away from sources of heat such as
radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc.
Ensure that air can circulate freely around
the back of the cabinet. To ensure best
performance, if the appliance is
positioned below an overhanging wall
unit, the minimum distance between the
top of the cabinet and the wall unit must
be at least 100 mm . Ideally, however, the
appliance should not be positioned
below overhanging wall units. Accurate
levelling is ensured by one or more
adjustable feet at the base of the
cabinet.
9.5 Door reversibility
WARNING!
Before carrying out any
operations, remove the plug
from the power socket.
CAUTION!
To carry out the following
operations, we suggest that
this be made with another
person that will keep a firm
hold on the doors of the
appliance during the
operations.
1. Tilt back the appliance carefully so
that the compressor cannot touch
the floor.
2. Unscrew both adjustable feet.
3. Unscrew the screws of the door
bottom hinge.
4. Take off the appliance door by
pulling it slightly downwards.
5. Unscrew the top door hinge pin of
the appliance then screw it back on
the other side.

6. Fit the appliance door on the upper
door hinge pin.
7. Remove the lower hinge. Put over
the pin in the direction of the arrow.
8. Unscrew and install the screw on the
opposite side.
9. Install the lower hinge on the
opposite side leaving the position of
the door unchanged.
10. Screw in the one screw in the place
set free on the other side as well as
the adjustable feet (2 pieces).

opposite side.

CAUTION!
Reposition, level the
appliance, wait for at least
four hours and then connect
it to the power socket.
Do a final check to make
sure that:
• All screws are tightened.
• The magnetic seal
adheres to the cabinet.
• The door opens and
closes correctly.
If the ambient temperature
is cold (i.e. in Winter), the
gasket may not fit perfectly
to the cabinet. In that case,
wait for the natural fitting of
the gasket.
In case you do not want to
carry out the above
mentioned operations,
contact the nearest
Authorised Service Centre.
The Authorised Service
specialist will carry out the
reversibility of the doors at
your cost.
9.6 Electrical connection
• Before plugging in, ensure that the
voltage and frequency shown on the
rating plate correspond to your
domestic power supply.
• The appliance must be earthed. The
power supply cable plug is provided
with a contact for this purpose. If the
domestic power supply socket is not
earthed, connect the appliance to a
separate earth in compliance with
current regulations, consulting a
qualified electrician.
• The manufacturer declines all
responsibility if the above safety
precautions are not observed.
• This appliance complies with the
E.E.C. Directives.

2. INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
2.1 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT!
L'appareil doit être installé
uniquement par un
professionnel qualifié.
• Retirez l'intégralité de l'emballage
• N'installez pas et ne branchez pas un
appareil endommagé.
• Suivez scrupuleusement les
instructions d'installation fournies
avec l'appareil.
• Soyez toujours vigilants lorsque vous
déplacez l'appareil car il est lourd.
Portez toujours des gants de sécurité.
• Assurez-vous que l'air circule autour
de l'appareil.
• Attendez au moins 4 heures avant de
brancher l'appareil sur le secteur.
Cela permet à l'huile de refouler dans
le compresseur.
• N'installez pas l'appareil à proximité
d'un radiateur, d'une cuisinière, d'un
four ou d'une table de cuisson.
• La surface arrière de l'appareil doit
être positionnée contre un mur.
• N'installez pas l'appareil dans un
endroit exposé à la lumière directe du
soleil.
• N'installez pas l'appareil dans un
endroit trop humide ou trop froid,
comme une dépendance extérieure,
un garage ou une cave.
• Lorsque vous déplacez l'appareil,
veillez à le soulever par l'avant pour
éviter de rayer le sol.
2.2 Connexion électrique

réseau. Si ce n'est pas le cas,

• N'utilisez pas d'adaptateurs
multiprises ni de rallonges.
• Veillez à ne pas endommager les
composants électriques tels que la
fiche secteur, le câble d'alimentation
ou le compresseur. Contactez le
service après-vente agréé ou un
électricien pour changer les
composants électriques.
• Le câble d'alimentation doit rester en
dessous du niveau de la fiche secteur.
• Ne connectez la fiche d'alimentation
secteur à la prise de courant secteur
qu'à la fin de l'installation. Assurez-
vous que la fiche d'alimentation est
accessible une fois l'appareil installé.
• Ne tirez jamais sur le câble
d'alimentation électrique pour
débrancher l'appareil. Tirez toujours
sur la fiche.
2.3 Usage
AVERTISSEMENT!
Risque de blessures, de
brûlures, d'électrocution ou
d'incendie.
• Ne modifiez pas les caractéristiques
de cet appareil.
• Ne placez aucun appareil électrique
(sorbetière, etc.) dans l'appareil, en
l'absence d'indications du fabricant.
• Veillez à ne pas endommager le
circuit frigorifique. Il contient de
l'isobutane (R600a), un gaz naturel
ayant un niveau élevé de
compatibilité environnementale. Ce
gaz est inflammable.
• Si le circuit frigorifique est
endommagé, assurez-vous de
l'absence de flammes et de sources
d'ignition dans la pièce. Aérez la
pièce.
• Évitez tout contact d'éléments chauds
avec les parties en plastique de
l'appareil.
• Ne placez jamais de boissons
gazeuses dans le congélateur. Cela
engendrerait une pression sur le
récipient de la boisson.
• Ne stockez jamais de gaz ou de
liquide inflammable dans l'appareil.
• Ne placez pas de produits
inflammables ou d'éléments imbibés
de produits inflammables à l'intérieur
ou à proximité de l'appareil, ni sur
celui-ci.
• Ne touchez pas le compresseur ni le
condenseur. Ils sont chauds.
• Ne retirez pas et ne touchez pas les
éléments du compartiment
congélateur avec les mains mouillées
ou humides.
• Ne recongelez jamais un aliment qui a
été décongelé.
• Respectez les instructions de
stockage figurant sur l'emballage des
aliments surgelés.
2.4 Entretien et nettoyage

• Avant toute opération d'entretien,
éteignez l'appareil et débranchez la
fiche de la prise secteur.
• Cet appareil contient des
hydrocarbures dans son circuit de
réfrigération. L'entretien et la
recharge du circuit de réfrigération
doivent être effectués par un
professionnel qualifié.
• Examinez régulièrement l'écoulement
de l'appareil et si nécessaire,
nettoyez-le. Si l'orifice est bouché,
l'eau provenant du dégivrage
s'écoulera en bas de l'appareil.
2.5 Mise au rebut

• Débranchez l'appareil de
l'alimentation électrique.
• Coupez le câble d'alimentation et
mettez-le au rebut.
• Retirez la porte pour empêcher les
enfants et les animaux de s'enfermer

3. FONCTIONNEMENT

3.2 Mise en marche
Après l'installation, attendez 4 heures
avant de brancher l'appareil.
Insérez la fiche dans la prise murale.
1. Le voyant vert s'allume et reste
allumé jusqu'à ce que l'appareil soit
éteint.
2. Laissez l'appareil fonctionner
pendant 8 heures avant d'y placer
des aliments pour lui permettre
d'atteindre la température idéale.
Le voyant rouge restera allumé
jusqu'à ce que l'appareil atteigne la
bonne température.
3. Lorsque l'appareil a atteint la
température sélectionnée (le voyant
rouge s'est éteint), réglez le
thermostat selon la quantité
d'aliments entreposés dans
l'appareil.
Quelques heures après la
mise en marche, le voyant
rouge s'éteint pour indiquer
que la bonne température
est atteinte pour le réglage
choisi. Il restera éteint pour
vous confirmer que tout est
en ordre. Ce voyant se
rallumera si la température
du congélateur augmente
excessivement, après
l'ouverture de la porte du
congélation ou le
rangement d'aliments à
l'intérieur du compartiment,
mais il s'éteindra à nouveau
dès que la température
repasse à un niveau de
conservation adapté.

3.3 Mise à l'arrêt
1. Pour éteindre l'appareil, débranchez
la fiche d'alimentation de la prise
secteur.
2. Pour mettre l'appareil hors tension,
débranchez la fiche d'alimentation
de la prise murale.
3.4 Réglage de la température
La température à l'intérieur de l'appareil
est contrôlée par un thermostat situé sur
le bandeau de commande.
Pour utiliser l'appareil, procédez comme
suit :
• tournez le thermostat vers MIN pour
obtenir moins de froid.
• tournez le thermostat vers MAX pour
obtenir plus de froid.
Si vous devez congeler de
petites quantités d'aliments,
le réglage Demi-charge est
le plus adapté. Si vous devez
congeler de grandes
quantités d'aliments, le
réglage Charge pleine est le
plus adapté.
ATTENTION!
Ne posez aucun objet lourd
ou chaud au dessus de
l'appareil pour éviter de
l'endommager.
4. PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
4.1 Nettoyage de l'intérieur
Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la
première fois, nettoyez l'intérieur et tous
les accessoires avec de l'eau tiède
savonneuse (pour supprimer toute odeur
de neuf), puis séchez-les soigneusement.
ATTENTION!
N'utilisez jamais de produits
abrasifs ou caustiques car ils
pourraient endommager le
revêtement.
5. UTILISATION QUOTIDIENNE
AVERTISSEMENT!
Reportez-vous aux chapitres
concernant la sécurité.
5.1 Congeler les aliments frais
La zone de congélation (partie
supérieure) est idéale pour congeler des
denrées fraîches et conserver à long
terme des aliments surgelés ou
congelés.
Pour congeler des aliments frais dans le
compartiment congélateur (supérieur),
laissez-les dans le compartiment pendant
24 heures.
Placez les aliments congelés dans les
compartiments de stockage (partie
inférieure) pour pouvoir congeler
d'autres aliments.
La quantité maximale d'aliments frais
que vous pouvez congeler par tranche
de 24 heures est indiquée sur la plaque
signalétique (située à l'intérieur de
l'appareil).
Le processus de congélation dure
24 heures : vous ne devez ajouter aucun
autre aliment à congeler pendant cette
période.
5.2 Conservation d'aliments
congelés et surgelés
À la mise en service ou après un arrêt
prolongé, placez le thermostat sur la
position maximale pendant 8 heures
environ avant d'introduire les produits
dans le compartiment.

En cas de décongélation
accidentelle, due par
exemple à une coupure de
courant, si la coupure a duré
plus de temps qu'indiqué au
paragraphe « Autonomie de
fonctionnement » du
chapitre « Caractéristiques
techniques », consommez
rapidement les aliments
décongelés ou cuisez-les
immédiatement avant de les
recongeler (une fois
refroidis).
5.3 Décongélation
Avant utilisation, les aliments surgelés ou
congelés peuvent être décongelés dans
le compartiment réfrigérateur ou à
température ambiante en fonction du
temps disponible pour cette opération.
Les petites portions peuvent même être
cuites sans décongélation préalable : la
cuisson sera cependant un peu plus
longue.
6. CONSEILS
6.1 Bruits normaux de
fonctionnement
Les bruits suivants sont normaux lorsque
l'appareil est en cours de
fonctionnement :
• Un léger gargouillis lorsque le liquide
réfrigérant est pompé.
• Un ronronnement et un bruit de
pulsation provenant du compresseur
lorsque le liquide réfrigérant est
pompé.
• Un bruit de craquement soudain
provenant de l'intérieur de l'appareil
provoqué par une dilatation
thermique (un phénomène naturel et
inoffensif).
• Un léger cliquetis du thermostat
lorsque le compresseur s'active ou se
désactive.
6.2 Conseils d'économie
d'énergie
• Évitez d'ouvrir trop souvent la porte
du congélateur et ne la laissez
ouverte que le temps nécessaire.
6.3 Conseils pour la
congélation
Voici quelques conseils importants pour
obtenir un processus de congélation
optimal :
• respectez la quantité maximale de
denrées fraîches que vous pouvez
congeler par 24 heures figurant sur la
plaque signalétique ;
• le processus de congélation durant
24 heures, n'ajoutez pas d'autres
aliments à congeler pendant cette
période ;
• congelez uniquement des aliments de
bonne qualité, frais et nettoyés ;
• préparez la nourriture en petits
paquets pour une congélation rapide
et uniforme, adaptés à l'importance
de la consommation ;
• enveloppez les aliments dans des
feuilles d'aluminium ou des sachets
en plastique et assurez-vous que les
emballages sont étanches ;
• ne laissez pas des aliments frais, non
congelés, toucher des aliments déjà
congelés pour éviter une remontée
en température de ces derniers ;
• les aliments maigres se conservent
mieux et plus longtemps que les
aliments gras ; le sel réduit la durée
de conservation des aliments ;
• la température très basse à laquelle
se trouvent les bâtonnets glacés, s'ils
sont consommés dès leur sortie du
compartiment congélateur, peut
provoquer des brûlures ;
• l'identification des emballages est
importante : indiquez la date de
congélation du produit et respectez la
durée de conservation indiquée par le
fabricant.

6.4 Conseils pour le stockage
des aliments surgelés
Pour obtenir les meilleures performances
possibles :
• assurez-vous que les denrées
surgelées achetées dans le commerce
ont été correctement entreposées par
le revendeur ;
• prévoyez un temps réduit au
minimum pour le transport des
denrées du magasin d'alimentation à
votre domicile ;
• évitez d'ouvrir trop souvent la porte
du congélateur et ne la laissez
ouverte que le temps nécessaire ;
• une fois décongelés, les aliments se
détériorent rapidement et ne peuvent
pas être recongelés ;
• ne dépassez pas la durée de
conservation indiquée par le
fabricant.
7. ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

2. Dévissez les deux pieds réglables.
3. Dévissez les vis de la charnière
inférieure de la porte.
4. Retirez la porte de l'appareil en la
tirant légèrement vers le bas.
5. Dévissez la goupille de la charnière
de porte supérieure de l'appareil
puis revissez-la de l'autre côté.

6. Installez la porte de l'appareil sur la
goupille de la charnière de porte
supérieure.
7. Retirez la charnière inférieure. Placez
la goupille dans le sens de la flèche.
8. Dévissez et installez la vis sur le côté
opposé.
9. Installez la charnière inférieure du
côté opposé sans changer la position
de la porte.
10. Vissez la vis à l'emplacement libéré
de l'autre côté, ainsi que les pieds
réglables (2 pièces).
11. Retirez et installez la poignée sur le
côté opposé.
