For your own protection, you should read the safety precautions carefully before
using your new Radioclock.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by inappropriate han-
dling, or by non-compliance with the safety precautions.
ā€¢ Only operate the radioclock in a temperate climate.
ā€¢ To ensure adequate ventilation, place the receiver on a ļ¬‚at, horizontal surface and
do not place any objects on top of it. There are ventilation slots here to allow heat
to be dissipated from the interior of the unit.
ā€¢ Do not place any burning objects, such as lit candles, on top of the radioclock.
ā€¢ Do not expose the radioclock to water droplets or water spray, and do not place
any objects ļ¬lled with liquid, such as vases, on top of it. If water gets into the unit,
immediately disconnect the mains plug and inform the service department.
ā€¢ Do not operate any sources of heat near the unit, which may also heat it up.
ā€¢ Do not obstruct the ventilation slots
ā€¢ Do not open the unit under any circumstances! You risk receiving an electric
shock. Any necessary repairs to the unit should only be carried out by qualiļ¬ed ser-
vice personnel.
ā€¢ Never unplug your unit by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug
ļ¬rmly and pull straight out from the outlet.
ā€¢ The normal function of the unit may be disturbed by strong Electro - Magnetic
Interference. If so, simply reset the unit to resume normal operation by following
the instruction manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the unit
in other location.
ā€¢ In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, never
leave the unit switched on while unaļ¬¾ended for long periods of time, e.g. over-
night, while on holiday or while out of the house. Switch it oļ¬€ and disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket.
ā€¢ Do not aļ¬¾empt to use unit in temperatures outside the range of 0Ā°C~40Ā°C

fall and cause serious injury to the unit.
