This symbol indicates prohibition. This symbol indicates requirement that must
be followed.

βDo not damage the Cord or the Plug.
Following actions are strictly prohibited:
Modifying, touching on or placing near heating elements, bending, twisting, pulling, pulled over sharp edges,
putting heavy objects on top, bundling the Cord and carrying the appliance by the Cord.
βDo not use the appliance if the Cord or the Plug is damaged or the Plug is loosely connected to the
outlet.
β’ If the Cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its Service Centre or similarly qualiο¬ ed
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
βDo not plug or unplug with wet hands.
βDo not operate the appliance when the Cord is wound.
βDo not immerse the Motor Housing in water or splash water on it.
βDo not disassemble, repair or modify the appliance.
β’ Please contact your Service Centre for repairing.
βDo not insert any objects in the vent or the gap.
β’ Especially metal objects such as pins or wires.
βDo not feed ingredients with hands. Use the Food Pusher.
βNever remove or attach the Hopper Plate, Head or Cap when the motor is operating.
βDo not allow infants and children to play with packaging material.
βThis appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
βMake sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
Also avoid plugging other devices into the same outlet to prevent electric overheating. However, if you are
connecting a number of Plugs, make sure the total wattage does not exceed the rated wattage of the outlet.
βInsert the Plug ο¬ rmly.
β’ Otherwise it may cause electric shock and ο¬ re caused by the heat that may generate around the Plug.
βClean the Plug regularly.
β’ A soiled Plug may cause insufο¬ cient insulation due to the moisture, and may cause ο¬ re.

CAUTION
To prevent electric shock, ο¬ re caused by a short circuit, burning, injury or
smoke.
βDo not leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation.
β’ When leaving the appliance unattended, turn the power Off.
βDo not use the appliance on following places:
β’ The place where is uneven surface, on carpet or table cloth etc.
β’ The place where it may be splashed with water or near a heat source.
βDo not replace any parts of the appliance with non-genuine spare parts.
βDo not operate more than 15 minutes at one time. When operating reverse function, do not operate
more than 5 seconds.
βDo not disassemble the appliance or place anything (especially ο¬ nger, spoon, fork, etc.) in the
appliance during operation.
βUnplug the appliance when not in use.
βMake sure to hold the Plug when unplugging. Never pull on the Cord.
βWhen carrying the appliance, be sure to hold the Motor Housing with both hands; do not hold only the
Hopper Plate.
βSwitch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing Attachments or approaching
parts that move in use.
βThis product is intended for household use only.
βEnsure to clean the surfaces in contact with food after use. (See page EN8 "After Use")
βCare shall be taken when handling the sharp Cutting Blade and Cutting Plates.
βAlways keep infants and children away from the appliance including the Cord.
βDiscontinue using the appliance immediately and unplug in the unlikely event that this appliance stops
working properly.
e.g. for abnormal or breaking down:
β’ The Plug or the Cord becomes abnormally hot.
β’ The Cord is damaged or there has been a power failure.
β’ The Motor Housing is deformed, has visible damage or is abnormally hot.
β Please unplug the appliance immediately and contact the Service Centre for advice or a repair.
βPay special attention to hands or ο¬ ngers of children as they are so small and can be involved into the
Head or holes of the Cutting Plate.
