• It is essential that the manufacturer’s recommended installation, maintenance and ﬁlter replacement requirements

be carried out for the product to perform as advertised. See Use & Care Manual for Warranty information.

• While testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.

• The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration

less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as speciﬁed in NSF/ANSI Standard 42,

Standard 53 and Standard 401.

• The compounds certiﬁed under NSF 401 have been deemed as emerging compounds/incidental contami-

nants. Emerging compounds/incidental contaminants are those compounds that have been detected in

drinking water supplies at trace levels. While occurring at only trace levels, these compounds can aﬀect the

public acceptance/perception of drinking water quality.

install the Water Filtration system.

Your Water Filtration system will withstand up to 100 lbs/in2 (psi) water pressure.

DO NOT allow children under 3 years of age to have access to small parts during the installation of this product.

To reduce the risk associated with the ingestion of contaminants:

DO NOT use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection

before or after use of the system. Systems certiﬁed for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that

may contain ﬁlterable cysts.

CAUTION

To reduce the risk associated with property damage due to water leakage

or ﬂooding:

• Read and follow the Use & Care Manual before installation and use of

this system.

• Change the disposable ﬁlter cartridge at the recommended interval; You

MUST replace the disposable ﬁlter cartridge every 6 months or sooner.

• Failure to replace the disposable ﬁlter cartridge at recommended

intervals may lead to reduced ﬁlter performance and failure of the ﬁlter,

causing property damage from water leakage or ﬂooding.

• Installation and use MUST comply with all state and local plumbing codes.

• Protect from freezing, remove ﬁlter cartridge when temperatures are

expected to drop below 33°F (4.4°C).

• DO NOT install systems in areas where ambient temperatures may go

above 110°F (43.3°C).

• DO NOT install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating water

temperature of this ﬁlter system is 100°F (37.8°C).
